Small carry-on bags are allowed, however it is recommended that you ravel lightly. Due to security concerns, the tour operator reserves the right to search any bags or purses you bring on board. Many of the attractions in Washington DC are equipped with metal detectors at the entrances. Traveling without bags or purses is recommended

Due to time restrictions, you cannot go inside any of the monuments, however you can spend about 15-20 minutes at each stop to enjoy up-close views

No food allowed on buses (snacks are fine!)

The boat cruise is seasonal from April 1 to October 15

Convertible buses switch from open-tops to glass-tops between Oct 15 - Mar 15 due to colder temperatures

    I took my teenage daughter on this tour. We were so impressed by our guide Dre. His knowledge of the DC area, and the history of each of the monuments and buildings was incredible. He has a crazy ability to list off facts about the monuments that is out of this world. There are no words to describe his level of knowledge. You will need to take the tour and discover it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. We were also grateful for the skillful driving of Maggie. She navigated the busy streets of DC with precision. I would absolutely recommend this tour. It is a great way to see the monuments and you will learn some fun facts too.

    Interesting and easy way to get around the far perimeter of must-see monuments. The distance would be impossible on foot in a day. We were provided rain ponchos in the afternoon which was a nice touch and allowed us to see the last locations. Commentary was interesting though dependant on individual guide.

    Super informative! Hit all the highlights! We use these tours the first day we’re in a city to get a high level look at everything it has to offer. Then we go back the next day to those spots we want to explore further. Our guide, Sam, was the absolute best. He found a way to weave humor into some of the most serious times in our nations history without being in any way disrespectful. Our driver, Maggie, was the consummate professional and maneuvered her way in and around the crowded streets of DC. All in all, a super way to see a city!

    It had been the worst experience so far for me with Viator . Instead of 6 hours I got 3.5 and focused mainly on the points of interests .

    Excellent tour, great guide, not too much walking. Comfortable coach, excellent spot chosen by guide for lunch (not included in cost of tour).
