Mount Parnassus
Mount Parnassus is a mountain in central Greece that towers above Delphi, north of the Gulf of Corinth. Mount Parnassus offers many advantages to the population of Greece. In peace, it possesses scenic views of the countryside and features olive groves and rolling hills. The mountain is also the location of historically, archaeologically, and culturally significant places of interest (such as Delphi). Recreationally, the slopes of Parnassus provide a medium for hiking (in the three warm seasons) and are skied in winter. Its melting snows provide water to the surrounding communities, reaching out as far as Athens. The mountain is composed of limestone, and its rock contains bauxite, ore that is rich in aluminum. In war, Parnassus has been a center of resistance if need be, providing cover and refuge to partisans.

5.00We had an amazing experience with Yomadic Agency on our Delphi tour, and our guide Chris truly made the day unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up, Chris was friendly, kind, entertaining, and incredibly welcoming to our whole family. He spoke excellent English and made everyone feel included in the conversations throughout the day. What really stood out was how knowledgeable he was — not only about Greek history, but also biblical history, which made the experience even more meaningful for us. He was intelligent, engaging, and made every stop interesting and enjoyable. Even when schedules and timing had to shift because of a private guide situation, Chris handled everything professionally and smoothly without ever making us feel rushed or stressed. He genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. He also went above and beyond in the little things — even making sure my husband and son were comfortable after getting into the hot springs with wet shorts for the car ride back! 5.00The Private Delphi Day Trip to the Ancient Oracle and scenic mountain viewpoints was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Christós was a great driver and guide—extremely knowledgeable about the history and mythology of Delphi, very thoughtful, and loads of fun to spend the day with. The itinerary was well planned, including a beautiful stop at a monastery along the way. The private format made the day feel relaxed and personalized, allowing us to go at our own pace. The private tour was absolutely worth it, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

5.00We had a wonderful trip to Hosios Lukas and Delphi. Our driver was great. Not a lot of tours to Delphi stop by Hosios Lukas, which is an extraordinary Byzantine monastery still active today. I highly recommend a visit if you plan to see Delphi, and this tour is a great way to do it.

5.00We had a really nice day in the countryside despite the torrential rain. The museum at Delphi was small, but the pieces were very interesting. The lunch spot was great, high above the town. Chris (and Alex) were very entertaining company.

5.00It far exceeded expectations! In addition to the great lesson of history and mythology provided by our guide Christos we visit historical sites and the beautiful museum of Delfos. The landscape by itself is a spectacle apart, surprised us very much.

5.00Themos was a great driver and made us have an amazing day. He picked us up in front of our apartment and we left to visit the monastery of Hosios Lukasha (Byzantine monastery of the 11th century, mosaics and crazy frescoes!!). Along the way, Themos told us about the culture of the region. After the monastery, head to the sanctuary of Delphi. We visited the museum and the archaeological site (combined ticket purchased on site). The museum is very nice and the archaeological site is really good, but take good shoes, it goes up😁. Then Themos took us to a local restaurant. And where I usually mistrust, here I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was excellent and we felt it was homemade (especially pasta). And price level for the day, that seems really suitable to me. The day lasted almost 10:00!! So really, I recommend this visit and again thank you to Themos.

5.00We had a very small, intimate group exploring Delphi and Thermopylae with Panos. He was so knowledgeable and shared so much history with us that the drive flew by. He was very flexible and tailored the day to us and made sure we had a delicious lunch with a view. It was lovely to see so much of the beautiful Greek landscape, too. Highly recommend!

5.00As part of our trip to Greece in 2024 we wanted to include a return trip to Delphi for other family members as they had not visited Greece before. When looking for an ideal service we immediately considered Yomadic from past experience and from the moment we first met our driver "Christos" we were very pleased. Christos made every effort to ensure we had the best possible experience that was also tailored to meet our needs and schedule. Over the day we visited Hosios Loukas, Arachova, Delphi and enjoyed the view of the picturesque countryside along the way with stops for refreshments whenever required. We had not been to Hosios Loukas before and would highly recommend this stop. The day was unrushed and ended with a visit to Paradise Taverna in Athens for a dinner that was fit for a king but reasonably priced that was a perfect conclusion to a very enjoyable day for all of us. We highly recommend this tour and others. Yomadic's staff have always been very friendly and willing to accommodate our requests without hesitation and open to suggest designations that are best suited for us with flexibility larger coach tours cannot provide.

5.00Amazing trip with wonderful drover Christos Zervas :) amazing. We went to monastery, Delphi temples, swiming in the see and visited Corycian Cave - very mystical amazing place to visit!!!
