The Bloody Sunday Story Walking Tour is facilitated by a brother of one of the victims who was killed that day.Some of our guides are also locals who where survivors of the Bloody Sunday massacre. Hear the story from John, one of the co-founders of the Bloody Sunday Justice Campaign where he will put forward his perspective of the historic events of the troubles and how he himself was directly affected.

The tour covers the Civil Rights era, Free Derry Corner, Battle of the Bogside, Bloody Sunday, the Peace Process and the Bogside Murals.This tour begins outside the Museum of free Derry. Visitors can pick the date and times whenever you want to do this walking tour.

John was a brilliant guide. He was very informative and came over really well. He had an unbelievable knowledge of what happened due obviously to his brother being one of the victims. He answered my numerous questions which was very professional of him. This is a must tour for anyone wanting to know about bloody sunday. Thank you John for a great insight into the bloody sunday event.

It was heart rendering listening to the experiences of the people from the Bogside while the British army murdered them. Let justice prevail and may God give them the strength to continue their fight for justice!

A very good explanation of the History of the ‘troubles’ made all the more interesting by our guide John who had a story to tell and a personal connection to the Sunday Bloody Sunday March. A must do in Derry.

The experience was excellent. It was quite something to be given the tour by someone who was there during the years of the Troubles, someone who had personal experiences of British brutality and who clearly still has deep ties with members of the community (one simply had to pay attention to how many passersby said hello).

John painted such a vivid picture of the battle of bogside because he was there. A wonderful and emotional history lesson. I wish everyone from America could see what happens when government overstep their policing.
