At The Dinner Detective, you’ll tackle a hilarious and challenging crime while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it! Our engaging and unique murder mystery dinner theatre performances have been playing across the country since 2004.
Our show is very different from traditional murder mystery dinner shows. We will hide non-costumed actors in the audience that are pretending to be part of the crowd. This results in a much more social and interactive evening than with other shows. Our shows are set during the present day and take place in real time. Over the course of the night, our costumed Detectives will uncover clues, interrogate audience members that may or may not be part of the show, and help everyone get closer to solving the mystery.

5.00I attended the St. Louis Murder Mystery Dinner last night and had a blast! The actors were energetic and engaging, keeping the crowd laughing and involved from start to finish. The mystery was cleverly written, with enough twists to keep us guessing, and the interactive format made it even more fun. The food was solid and the pacing of the evening was smooth. Great for a date night, group outing, or something different to do in the city. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary!

5.00The setting was easy to find. There was plenty of parking, park towards the back of the building. The food was good,we had the chicken. The confirmed actors were good and the actors that were "part of the audience" did a great job of remaining incognito. A fun evening!

5.00My husband and I absolutely loved this show. The couples and families at our table were so fun and I am beyond impressed with the great comedy and acting by the cast. They are just hilarious!! There were a few times I couldn’t tell if they were improving or not because it was just so funny and so well put together. I could not recommend this enough! Everyone there was ready to laugh and have a great time and that is what we did all night! I laughed and smiled all night, it was incredible!
