For guests outside of the pickup area then MERCHANTS ROAD in GALWAY CITY is the meeting point. You will find a White Toyota Proace Verso ‘Fat Bike Galway’ vehicle at the location. Then sit back and enjoy the scenery as we journey into the wonderful Connemara region.
Connemara
Experience the thrill of riding an electric fat tyre bike through the diverse landscapes of Connemara to fully experience this magical region. An electric fat bike ride is a leisurely cycle suitable for all fitness levels and capabilities with a minimum age of 14 years old. It’s easy and fun for everybody with a typical cycle time of approximately 3 hours including comfort stops, time for photos etc.

5.00Spending the day in the country with Martin made our anniversary trip to Ireland a dream come true! If you want to see the beautiful country, this is the way to experience it!! The biking is very doable with the electric bikes and Martin is the perfect tour guide!! Highly recommend!!

5.00My wife and I had an amazing time on the couples tour with Martin! It was my first time riding an e-bike and will definitely not be the last. Martin setup a great tour of Connemara including a stop to see some sheep herding (and hold 5 day old border collies). This was definitely a highlight of our first trip to Ireland and we cannot wait to return to do another tour with Martin!

5.00What an amazing experience! Our electric bike tour through the Irish countryside was absolutely unforgettable. The bikes were super comfortable and made the ride easy and fun — even on the hills! The views were breathtaking, and we felt so connected to nature as we rode through charming villages, lush green fields, and along scenic coastlines. The guide was kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel safe and inspiring. We appreciated the pace of the ride, which allowed us to enjoy each moment without feeling rushed. 5.00Martin created a safe and fun experience! He provided lots of information regarding the area and the turn around point was a small authentic pub. I am 5 feet tall and was able to ride the bikes without a problem.

5.00Martin was an AMAZING guide and instructor on our E-bike adventure! He was thorough in his instructions and made sure we understood how the bike works, how to keep safe while having fun, lots of fun! "The Larches Pub" was the perfect halfway point to rest a bit and have a refreshing beverage! We were very happy that Vagabond Tours found this exciting adventure for us to experience! Beautiful countryside to bike in and the sheep shared the land very nicely! 🐑🐑🐑🐑

5.00Simply incredible! One of the greatest days my wife and I have ever had. Do not hesitate, you should book this tour. If you have to kick something else off your itinerary, do it because it will not be as amazing as biking with Martin through Connemara. The things that we were able to see and do on this tour were truly remarkable. Connemara is breathtakingly beautiful, and we felt like we got to see so much of what makes the region special. Sure you can cover a bit more ground by van, but looking across two people through a window as you drive by is not the best way to experience what Connemara has to offer. This bike tour is. Martin was an incredible guide for us, and he will be an incredible guide for you too. The operation of every part of the trip was smooth and we were always having a great time. Pickup and dropoff could not have been simpler or more convenient. He was also great for taking photos and making sure we were comfortable during the riding portions. Also, know that the biking is very easy, and the electric assist makes moving along at a brisk pace no problem at all, even for those who may not be in great shape. You won’t be biking for 3 hours straight! There are lots of breaks and so many things to see and do along the route. If you have a chance to meet Joe and enjoy his sheepdog presentation, say yes immediately. He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and the dogs are a joy to watch and be around. Lunch in Clonbur was also great, and we had time for a stroll around the quaint village as well. A very pleasant way to end the tour before the short trip back to Galway. I cannot rate this experience highly enough. Find a way to do it.

5.00The Fat Bike Tour in Conamara was an amazing and must-do experience. Martin was a very wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide who was attentive in making sure everybody felt comfortable, safe and having a great time. The power assisted bikes were of high quality and an excellent choice for touring the rolling hills of Conamara. The views were breathtaking! Biking through Conamara countryside was one of our highlights with our stay in Galway and we would highly recommend it for a phenomenon experience. Martin provided a day that exceeded all expectation and left us with a long lasting memory of Ireland.

5.00Martin provides a safe, fun and exceptionally stunning ride into the Connemara! You’ll meet Ireland on this trip and you won’t forget it. He provides great instructions for first time electric bike users (me!). We saw working dogs, we swam in a gorgeous lake, we biked through emerald hills with stone walls—it’s the kind of experience I’ll meditate to in the future. Don’t miss this extraordinary tour offer!
