Senate Square
The statue of Tsar Alexander the 2nd in the center of the Senate Square, marks the start point of the tour. This is the most historical part of Helsinki, and some say the most beautiful - with it's Russian Neoclassic architecture. Here we can see the Helsinki Cathedral, the University of Helsinki, and a great viewpoint of the Senate Square for photos.
Helsinki Cathedral
Following our visit to the Senate Square, our next stop is the White Helsinki Cathedral. Perhaps one of the most impressive buildings in Helsinki, it is also the most visited building. We will allow a little time to visit inside (providing there are no services or weddings), and we will allow time to take photos of this building so you have a souvenir to take home.

5.00Only 2 on the tour, which I enjoyed. The historical and art info was easy to understand, thankfully. I also liked having an hour only, plus 4 short walks in between locations. Andres was a very good tour guide and I enjoyed his stories and local recommendations.
Eero made us love Finland even more!

5.00We took the red umbrella tour on our last day in Finland. I don't think there's a wrong time to take this tour during your stay. Eero's love for Finland made the information he shared much more rich. He answered all of our questions with thoughtfulness, insight and subtle humor.
