  I highly recommend this tour ! The content was really interesting. In addition, John immediately brings a very friendly atmosphere 😊 Time flew by!

  John was a very kind, fun and knowledgeable guide . There were a total of 10 of us Quins supporters doing a tour on a foggy Saturday morning and although we could not see some of the buildings until close up, it was still a very well spent 2 hours and set us up for the weekend and gave us some ideas of places to revisit and restaurants to eat. Highly recommend. John, we did tell you it would be a modern day seige at the rugby 😂

  I went to La Rochelle for a week with my family in August and the day after arriving I went on this walking tour - it was amazing! John's expert local knowledge of the area provided for a brilliant tour. It combined fascinating stories about the history and culture of La Rochelle, alongside more practical recommendations for what to see and do in La Rochelle! I loved it and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going to la Rochelle!

  John was an excellent tour guide. Very articulate and well versed in the history of the city and region. He brought the history that I learned in high school to life. Leisurely pace, easy to walk. Very highly recommend the 2 hour tour.

  Great tour with John. There were only 3 of us so we were able to ask quite a few questions! Very knowledgable and had a lot of local knowledge. Good insights and recommendations. Highly recommended tour. Do it early though so you can take advantage of the inside knowledge. Fedelma & Dave
