5.00Katerina did a fantastic job of telling us all about the history of Meteora. She is well educated in history and is a native of the area, adding personal knowledge as well. The driver did a great job of navigating the roads. So glad we booked the tour instead of striking out on our own. They knew where to go, explained more than we could have gotten from reading about it, dropped as at the door. Well run outfit! Make sure you can climb LOTS of stairs to enjoy this!

5.00Shuttle picked us up at our airport ontime, shuttle was plenty big for our family of 4 with room for a wheelchair in the back. Our driver was as professional as could be and was very knowledgeable as he grew up up in the town of Kalambaka. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. Not really accessable for people with difficulties walking, but still worth it for the history and sights without even being able to go inside the monastaries. For those who can walk and go up stairs, there awaits some incredible monastaries and even better views. Highly recommend this.

5.00Jannis was our driver and he was outstanding! The engaging conversation made the drive from Athens pass so quickly! Our guide from Kalabaka was Vasilios. He was tremendously knowledgeable and kind. Both Jannis and Vasilios made certain that tour was fulfilling. Meteora was magical. After the tour, they recommended a local restaurant and at our insistence, accompanied us for lunch. The conversation was engaging, the visit exceeded our expectations. I understand that Jannis and Vasilios are not always paired together, but if you can request the two of them, they were the dynamic duo!

5.00The place is magnificent and magical, but the service does not include a guide, the driver will not go into the monastery’s and explain things. You must do your own research or add an audio guide. Having said this we really enjoy the service of the driver.

5.00Evan, our driver, was great - friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The day started in an out-of-the-way place still amongst the stones to give us a taste and an overview of the sites we were going to see. It was a hot day and the van was cool and inviting place. It was priceless too to both have Evan navigate the way/free us from the worry of parking and help us with taking pictures of our whole group. It was especially nice in the final monastery to be dropped off at the top and picked up at the bottom. We had a smooth day enjoying the amazing sights and discovering a few unexpected ones!

5.00Jim was an excellent tour guide. He showed up on time. We very knowledgeable about the area and history. He told great stories and was able to help us manage the crowds at the varied attractions. Would definitely recommend him and doing this tour.

5.00We were picked up from our guesthouse on time. We got to visit some local monasteries and were shown numerous wonderful photo opportunities. Our guide, Evan, knew the area, history, geology etc. He was friendly, polite and we could not have asked for more. The personal tour was worth the extra cost.

5.00I have been on several hikes with visit meteora and they are great. There's a lot of control for safety and the guides are very knowledgeable, fun and friendly. I don't know if I picked the right name of the last hike, but we did go in to Gran Meteora.
