  Aleksandra was wonderful. She customized the tour based on our needs and interests. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and offered lots of recommendations of places to see and things to do as part of our visit. Our experience was a great balance of history, culture and sightseeing!

  With limited time in Ohrid, Aleksandra gave us the perfect tour of the town, hitting all the important stops, giving us the right amount of historical context and providing us a glimpse of current life in North Macedonia.   We met Aleksandra Neloska when we arrived in Ohrid and were lucky enough to have her guide us for the next four days through villages, monasteries, lakes and mountains all the way to Skopje. She had all the best qualities of a professional guide — excellent communication skills, engaging daily briefings, and a deep knowledge of every place we visited. Her focus on the essential features was refreshing, and she managed to connect personally with each member of our small but diverse group. Thanks to Aleksandra’s long-standing local relationships and experience as both a guide and resident of Ohrid, we enjoyed unique experiences throughout the region — visiting places and meeting people that few others would have access to. A wonderful storyteller with impressive insight into local food, wine, culture and community life, Aleksandra brought each destination to life. She was also great fun, joining in our lunches, dinners and cooking classes with genuine enthusiasm. Not your average guide — an absolute standout!

  Sandra is great tourist guide! We booked city and lake tour. It was very interesting listening about such amazing history. Sandra showed us some very old city parts, monuments, churches. And we took a coffee in one beautiful restaurant on the lake. We also had yaht tour on the lake, it was so nice experience, too.   We are a travel agency in Romania and we had Aleksandra as our tour guide in Ohrid for a group of 45 tourists. Aleksandra made our experience unforgettable, she is an amazing person, kind, caring, professional,well organised, with great knowledge of history, culture and traditions. She took us to best places in Ohrid, making sure we got best out of our trip. She organised for us a lovely boat trip on Ohrid Lake and also, best macedonian floklore evening we could have with delicious food, live music and traditional dancers. She went out of her way and helped us recover some property left behind in the hotel room, making sure it was packaged and sent back to Romania. We strongly recommend Aleksandra,she is probably one of the best guides in Ohrid and in Macedonia! Thank you, Aleksandra! It was a pleasure meeting you, we look forward to seeing you in the near future!
