The Archaeological Park of Dion is the most important archaeological site at Mount Olympus in Greece, located in Dion (Greek: Δίον). In the area comprised by the Archaeological Park of Dion, sanctuaries were found from the Hellenistic and Roman periods. The park displays the importance of ancient Dion in the history of Pieria.
St. Dionysius of Olympus
The Monastery of Agios Dionysios in Olympus is a Greek Orthodox monastery on the slopes of Mount Olympus, the most important monastery in the Pieria Prefecture. It is located at the Enipeas ravine at an altitude of 850 m The original monastery, established in 1542, was destroyed by the Germans in 1943. Nearby, there is the cave of Saint Dionysius.

5.00We enjoyed the relaxed pace and our friendly and patient guide. The vehicle was beautiful which made the drive comfortable. It was wonderful to see the sites on this tour and am glad we chose it. A nice mix of walking, lunch and even some shopping.
I would recommend this to anyone who loves the mountains and nature

4.00We booked the trip and sadly it turned out we were on Easter Sunday so most things were closed. No fault of the tour operator. the kid (23 years old) was a good driver and knew a lot about the area. We did get to go and see some of the sights and he did a good job of filling in what he could. it was beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves but the date just messed things up. He picked us up right at the ship and dropped us back at the same spot. Made it easy. Lunch was at a place he knew everyone (surprise) but the food was decent and not overpriced.

5.00This was a great way to experience Mount Olympus and see the Dion archeological site. The walk to the waterfall was beautiful and enhanced the experience. Lunch at a traditional Greek restaurant and the food was delicious! Our driver was extremely nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Thank you!
