This Romanian spirit is now known even in Japan. It is ”palinca” or ”tuica”, a liquor that is always present on any Ardeal peasant’s table and not only.
”Plăcintă” is a Romanian, Moldovan and Ukrainian traditional pastry resembling a thin, small round or square-shaped cake, usually filled with apples or a soft cheese such as Urdă.

5.00My walking tour of Oradea was wonderful! I have been on many similar tours in other cities but Alex made the experience one of the best. Very informative, patient and kind. I had a one on one tour and it was great. It was casual and comfortable, I never felt rushed. Top notch, I would recommend to all .

1.00I booked this tour, for my daughters, I was born and raised in Oradea, I left 25 years ago and I wanted an educational tour with history to show my girls the beauty of this city and I was so excited to book the tour. I got a confirmation 24 hours later and that morning I checked , the meeting point and the time at 5:30 pm , I showed up at the meeting and I was stood up . No show from the guide . I went on the trip advisor site and I had a cancellation notification, which was very recently put in . No courtesy email or phone call . Just waisted time . No apologies. Very disappointed.

5.00Deciding to visit Oradea during pandemic was the best choice I have made. Great tour with excellent atmosphere and very friendly guide. After this experience, I will recommend everyone this city in Romania, with its gorgeous architecture.
