A century old knighthood, the worlds most famous bunny, the most expensive staircase of the country, a visit to the the biggest bike parking in the world with 12.500 places and the story of Utrecht’s biggest hero. During the tour we’ll share all those stories and many more, to explain how they have shaped Utrecht to become the city it is today.
During the “Our Utrecht Tour” (5,5 km) that starts from the central station, we take you to the places where the locals go, stroll along the canals, and tell you the best stories about our city.
Walking can make you hungry! So that's why we partnered with some restaurants (friends of ours) and can offer you discounted prices for lunch, coffee, wine or food. Happy to help!

The start of our tour, here we'll gather and visit the largest bike parking in the world to get a better understanding of Dutch biking culture.
Around the city centre you find the Singel. At some places the Singel is centuries old, at other places it is brand new. We tell you some stories that happened here and show you some of the amazing buildings next to it.

5.00We had such a great tour with our guide Julian. We spent a really nice two hours walking around Utrecht with a small group. I always thought city tours were kind of boring, but this was actually super fun. The guide was enthusiastic, told great stories and it was really cool that he could show us what some places used to look like. The facts were fun and interesting, the spots we visited were really varied, and we ended up in places we’d never have found on our own. This is definitely how i want to explore cities more often. Highly recommended!

5.00I really enjoyed this tour! I have lived in Utrecht for 10 years and thought I had seen and/or heard everything. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. I really got to know my city better (in a nice way). Maxime is next door a very nice, smooth guide. In short: recommended!

5.00It was a great tour! Maxime told very nice facts about Utrecht, which I did not know as a born and raised Utrechter. I learned a lot of new things about the city where I have lived for almost 30 years. I would recommend him to anyone!

5.00For those who already know Utrecht pretty well or have seen the highlights (like us) this is a very surprising fun tour! The emphasis was not so much on history , it was a ‘light-hearted’ tour with the occasional serious story interspersed with interesting facts. Beautiful piece of Utrecht discovered!! It is also nice that this tour is suitable for young and old in terms of walking distance and walking pace. We certainly had a nice well spent afternoon!

5.00Our guide Julian was very knowledgeable about his city Utrecht. We were thrilled to learn so much about the history, culture, architecture and infrastructure. All his stories made a big impact on us especially one of the little girl Truus van Lier’s sculpture who lost her life at a very young age during the occupation. Thank you Julian,
