Join us to discover the best of Quito city, the capital city of Ecuador.
You'll start walking in the historical center, this is the first Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, and the largest old-town in Latin America. The mandatory visits are Basilica de Voto Nacional church, Plaza Grande, Carondelet Palace, Primary Cathedral and La Compañia de Jesús (the gold church).
The tour continues to the Teleférico, the best viewpoint of the city and the volcanoes. You must bring a jacket and hiking shoes to get to the Swing viewpoint and take amazing pictures.
In the afternoon you'll visit the equator line (intiñan museums). It is halfway between the North Pole and the South Pole, at 0 degrees latitude. You will walk on the equator that divides the planet into a Northern Hemisphere and a Southern Hemisphere.

5.00We were very pleased with everything our tour guide (Daniel) had to offer on this tour. He is very knowledgeable of Ecuador's history, culture, politics and economics, pretty much everything we want to know about this country and beyond. He is also well mannered, pleasant and thoughtful. I can give him a 10+ and will happily refer him to my family and friends who have expressed their interest to travel to Ecuador/Galapagos.

5.00Having a dedicated guide is definitely worthwhile. This is a great tour. Christian was our guide/driver and was very knowledgeable about Quito and Ecuador in general with all of its history, geography and culture. He spoke English very well. Unfortunately, it was rainy and cloudy the day of our tour so we did not get to ride the cable car. and Old Town was mobbed with people as it was a holiday. But the tour was extensive and is highly recommended. Have lunch at Mizkay !

5.00If you have only one day to experience Quito, this is the tour for you. From the ride in the TeleferiQo cable car to enjoy beautiful views of the city, the Pichincha Volcano, and other Andean Mountains in the distance to the "Middle of the World" where we got to straddle the equator, to old town to see the historical architecture, Basilica of the National Vow, the Plaza Grande, and Plaza de San Francisco - this tour gave us a real sense for Quito and it amazing people. We had the benefit of having Christian as our tour guide whose passion for his city and his country clearly came through. He was a wealth of knowledge who put things into context culturally and historically and always happy to answer our questions. He was helpful, professional and courteous. We are very grateful.

5.00Loved this tour. Daniel is a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, fun and very responsive to questions and requests. We visited the equator (twice!), rode the cable car and the visited the truly charming old town. Quito is wonderful.

5.00Perfect tour for experiencing Quito in a day. Mix of dining, shopping, and sightseeing. Our guide, Christian, was amazing, any expectations were greatly exceeded. Christian tailored the activities to the level of physical exertion and length of time we desired. Perfecta!

5.00This was the perfect first day in Quito. Our guide, Maurio was amazing. We hit all the high points in Quito and he showed us his favorite place for chocolate ice cream. I would highly recommend this tour and Maurio.
