  A extra-ordinary driver is essential to ensure an outstanding journey. This was our case with Ashan. In one week, he became a true friend. Separation was moving !

  We (family of 4) had a comfortable and spacious van with driver for 10 days during Easter'18. We indicated beforehand which places and hotels we were going to visit and basically paid a fee per kilometer. We made two changes during the tour and there was no problem (the driver hadn't made any reservations for himself). IMHO safety should be the first consideration in Sri Lanka. It is normal that cars from the other direction come to your lane to overtake a tuk-tuk or some other slow vehicle. Still, there were a few times that things were dangerous even for Sri Lanka standards. The driver was alert each time and always picked the safest option in each situation and thus minimizing risks. From the airport to the last day, the driver always showed up at the agreed time. Also when we changed our plans, he was always flexible. The driver was helpful when we had questions or doubts.

  The 9 of us (6 adults and 3 kids) hired a small van to travel along the South coast. we largely designed the route ourselves, and they were very flexible and took us wherever we wanted to go. Highly recommended for getting around Sri Lanka.
