St. George

Their Majesties Chappell, St. Peter's Church, in St. George's, Bermuda, is the oldest surviving Anglican church in continuous use outside the British Isles. It is also reportedly the oldest continuously used Protestant church in the New World.

Kristin's Discover St George's Walking Tour is an incredible experience not to be missed on anyone's visit to Bermuda. She weaves together the social, economic, political, artistic, and religious story of St George's and its people. The history is intertwined with life in the town today. Kristin brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and perspective with a personable style and personal experience that makes the tour that much more enjoyable. This was one of the best walking tours I have ever taken anywhere.
Step back into history and be mesmerized!

Of the dozen walking tours we’ve taken via TripAdvisor, this one led by the bookstore owner Kristen White was the most informative, intelligent and interesting we’ve EVER done. It is a must-do experience for your next trip to Bermuda.

I have been wanting to do a tour with Long Story Short for the longest while. The Haunted History inYe Olde Ghost Towne tour was very educational, expounding on the early history of the town of St. George in Bermuda. I can't wait to do another tour. Next time it will be the e-bike tour. Kristin is an excellent tour guide.

Christine had a great deal of information for the tour. She knows her subject well. But it was fun with historical trivia mixed in. I would recommend taking the tour with her.

We had the privilege of taking a tour of historic St. George’s with Kristin White, and it was truly the most impactful experience of our company conference in Bermuda. Our group included colleagues from around the world — including Bermudians — and every single one of us walked away with a deeper understanding of the island’s rich and complex history. Kristin brought the town to life with stories of real people, connecting local events to global movements, politics, and the transatlantic slave trade. Her storytelling was informative, engaging, and deeply moving. Even those of us who thought we knew Bermuda’s history learned something new. Kristin’s ability to weave together architecture, world history, and personal narratives made the experience unforgettable. Kristin entertained all questions, and never once did we ask about anything which Kristin couldn't give a rich and interesting answer! We booked a private walking tour of St. George’s with Kristen, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. She was incredibly accommodating with scheduling, as we couldn’t make her regular weekly tour, and she worked with us to find a time that fit our plans. As a local, Kristen brings a wealth of knowledge—not just about St. George’s, but about all of Bermuda. Her storytelling brought the town’s rich history to life, and she took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. She was punctual, friendly, and paced the tour perfectly to match our comfort level. I’ll definitely be booking more tours with Kristen the next time I’m in Bermuda, especially when I return with friends. Highly recommended!
