• Not to be missed! Discover Adelaide tour to Cleland and Hahndorf!

  We had a wonderful time w Liz on her Discover Adelaide Tour! Cleland was awesome, and walking around the park was an adventure with animals for sure! The Kangaroos, and Koalas-amazing. Great access and informative. We started the day with Mount Lofty which set the tome for a day of adventure, great food, Hahndorf was fabulous. We had free time to shop and roam the historic town. The White House Burgers were GREAT. Next we were treated to a Willie Wonka style factory a hidden gem. Next was a great wine tasting and cheese offering, the wine was excellent and so was the setting. We had an amazing day, and really enjoyed Liz and her knowledge about the area and treating us to some local flavors. We both were amazed and how much we did, but never felt rushed. Great DAY! Thank you to Liz! She is focused on giving the best curated tour possible. We will be back.

  This tour was absolutely second to none! Liz (tour operator) was funny and engaging throughout and ensured that this trip was amazing for everyone, I would highly recommend this to anybody visiting Adelaide as it is an absolute gem of a day trip/venture 😁

  I booked a private group tour for 8 with Discover Adelaide well in advance of our arrival. Liz, owner, was quick in her responses to all my questions via WhatsApp. Her day tour was a perfect balance of all that we wanted to see in Adelaide; Mount Lofty Summit, Cleland Wildlife Park, the German village of Hahndorf, Melba’s Chocolate & Confectionary, and finally wine tasting at Cobb’s Hill Estate Winery. It was such a great tour! The van was very comfortable, and Liz used a headset for her commentary throughout the day. The people in the back could clearly hear her every word. Liz was very personable and knowledgeable. The highlight of the tour for me was feeding the kangaroos and seeing the koalas up close. We wish we had more time to spend in this beautiful city!!

  Discover Adelaide with Liz was fantastic. Great variety on our tour - Viewpoint - Wildlife - Chocolate Factory - Winery. Liz was very knowledgable and informative at each stop - highly recommend her ! We would not hesitate to use Liz and Discover Adelaide again should we be fortunate have that opportunity again.

  We can't recommend this tour highly enough. We saw wonderful sites but the best part was spending time with a local who loves and takes pride in Adelaide. To have a day to visit together was a gift, and we will long remember our guide's knowledge, kindness, good humor and competence. Thank you!

  What a fantastic day we just had with Liz from Discover Adelaide doing the Cleland Wildlife Park and Hahndorf tour. Liz gives a background along the way with information about the history of Adelaide and how it came about plus loads of other facts throughout the day - just enough though not all of the time.We first made a quick visit to Mount Lofty summit - enough time to take a few photos and visit the gift shop if required. Our next stop was the highlight of the day The Cleland Wildlife Park where Liz guided us through an approx 2 hour tour being very informative throughout about the park and the animals - we were able to feed a few of the animals including kangaroos , ducks and coots. During the park visit you could have a close encounter with a koala but if you were not worried about this then Liz is able to take you on the wetland wildlife trail which was brilliant as were saw lots of baby ducks and coots along the way. The 3 in house pelicans are massive and there is a feeding time which was lovely to see ( something that you might not manage if Liz did not guide you ). On leaving the park we were then taken to the town of Hahndorf for lunchtime but you are only given a few guidelines on where you might want to eat there is no pressure to pick a particular place which is very refreshing - you have about 2 hours here which is enough to grab something to eat as well as wander up both sides of the street to look in the many shops. After this we went to a chocolate tasting where we were given 6 different items to try and a quick look at how the chocolate is hand made still - our final stop was at a vineyard where we had a taste of 5/6 wines from sparkling to white to red and a cheese platter to share. All in all a very varied and informative day which was very much a highlight of our holiday so far. Would not hesitate to pick another tour with Discover Adelaide

  Great tour, excellent knowledgeable guide. The wildlife park tour was the highlight. Liz took photos of us feeding the animals and sent them to us. Good value for money.

  I had an excellent day out in the Adelaide Hills with Discover Adelaide Tours. Our guide, Liz, was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. She made the whole experience relaxing, fun, and memorable. Even when the surprise showers came through, Liz had umbrellas ready for everyone, which kept the group comfortable and smiling. Her insights into the region really brought the tour to life, and her warm personality made it feel like we were traveling with a friend. A tip for anyone planning to visit: wear warm clothes, as it can get quite chilly up in the Hills. Thank you, Liz, for making the day so special—we’ll remember it for a long time!

  Liz was a great host, and had a lot of knowledge regarding spots around Adelaide and the hills. Cleland, and Hahndorf and Mount lofty were great. A great way to experience the hills with no stress. Certainly recommended.
