Our big thanks to Eduardo and Carlos, our guide and driver, respectively. We enjoyed a wonderful tour, focused on learning about the history, culture, and the best artisans of many towns located around Lake Atiltlan. The tour took us to meet directly the women artisans, the cooperatives and some other artisans who make textiles, ceramics and paint, some with Mayan methods and others with more modern methods. We got to know hidden gems in every town that we wouldn't have found in any other way. The entire tour was very punctual, very well organized and very complete. Our only complaint was that, in the hotel we stayed in, the breakfast offered to us was minimal and bad. Although the tour is expensive, it is understandable because we enjoyed the accompaniment of a private guide exclusively for us, also drivers and private transportation exclusively for us (including boats on the lake). Totally recommended!
