Walking is the best way to get close to the sights, sounds and smells of the REAL Vanuatu! We have a range of trails that take in beaches, plantations, native villages, rivers and jungle. We can accommodate all levels of experience and fitness, and only take small groups.

A great tour to learn more about culture and village life. My guide, Jacky, had a wealth of information and was great at pointing out plants and explaining their uses.

Went hiking with Barbara in a small group and learned about the native plants and wildlife, she was happy to answer any and all questions we had. Ecotours also does a lot for the local community which we were very happy to hear and learn about.

I was lucky the tour went ahead even though it was just me. Jacky is a fabulous guide. No need for me to do any research of Vanuatu traditions or customs as he told me just about all of them. The walk itself was wonderful and the highlight of the walk was definitely going through the two villages to experience a taste of local life. Thanks Jacky for making this tour a memorable one.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Berry on our bush walk near Eratap. He was the perfect guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing his culture. Berry provided fascinating insights into local traditions, fruits, the economy, and so much more. No matter what we asked about the country, he had an answer! His expertise and warm personality made this tour truly unforgettable. Highly recommended! Also, be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Thank you so much for this incredible experience! What a lovely walk and informative tour, our guide Berry was very accommodating and took the time to share his experience and knowledge of all the local bush. A very relaxing walk though a couple villages and the bush . Would recommend

Really lovely and informative trip. The guide, Berry, was really funny and had a deep knowledge about the local agriculture and important plants. After a moderate trek to the village we met the chief and shared some refreshments. The walk isn’t too hard just very hot. Bring extra sunscreen.

Amazing walk through Eratrap Village and surrounds with Jackie and Berry. They supplied so much great information about the plants and the area as well as traditional customs. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great customer service orientated company. This walk takes you slowly round a rural area where people live their own quiet reflective lives. The guides are both lovely guys and even their bad jokes are funny in a setting like this. They know their stuff about everything, the plants trees culture history just everything. We met a few lovely people and said hello to the kids at a French school. To be honest after seeing this way of living and just enjoying the tranquillity it made us question a lot of things we do ourselves in our so called advanced way of living. Really good value also.

It was on a special tour because it was low peak season. The tour guide Roy and Mira were really awesome and hospitable. I learned a lot about nature, conservation, and sustainability on how this relates to the livelihood. Also, this gives importance to the community. It was fun adventure and I had the opportunity to experience being a local in Vanuatu and shared some of my cultural backgrounds and way of living. Then we found out that we have the similiraties and differences. Highly recommend the tour to gain new perspective.
