  Hanoi is chaotic, crowded, noisy — but that’s part of its charm.   The Vespa ride itself was a delightful experience — the wind, the sounds, the city whizzing by. But what stayed with me most were the food and interactions with the locals: street food, egg coffee at a cafe on narrow streets, spontaneous everyday moments on small roads. It felt very authentic, unpretentious, and distinctly Vietnamese — not at all "cleaned up" to cater to tourists. A wonderful blend of adventure and authenticity.

  It was amazing how we were able to travel from the colonial city center to tranquil, green areas like islands in just a few hours. Throughout the tour, we visited both bustling neighborhoods and quieter areas near rivers and lakes, creating a contrast between the hustle and bustle of urban life and the serenity of thecountryside. That balance made the tour complete and showed us aspects of Hanoi beyond the tourist postcards.
