Disneyland Paris follows the standard disney recipe of providing a magical experience, and it certainly delivers well on the magic, but is held back by some shortcomings. Disneyland Paris consists of two parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. We brought a 17 month old and had an overall good time. The Good: 1) There are rides in both parks for all ages and adrenaline levels. - For high octane adrenaline junkies: 1) Star Wars Hyperspace, 2) Indiana Jones, 3) Big Thunder Mountain, 4) Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, and 5) The Hollywood Tower. Crush's Coaster is also supposed to be very good but it was plagued with technical issues during our 3 day visit there (which led to long ques when it operated). These all required riders to be 120cm if I recall correctly. - For those with young ones, there look for the rides that say any height. But some of them can still be bumpy so for those bringing infants, some rides (particularly the roller coaster type rides) will requrie them to sit on the seat (ie not on your lap) and they should have good head control before bringing them onboard. Rides we enjoyed were: 1) Casey Jr train, 2) Its a small world boat ride, 3) Slinky Dog. 2) Disneyland Park was very festive for the Christmas period which greatly added to the experience and charm. Parades were really good and kids loved it, decorations were very beautiful, music was great, everything was made to make the experience magical. Very well done. 3) The shows were good, some were really great. We particularly enjoyed: 1) Together: A Pixar Musical Adventure (A must see for all ages***) and 2) Frozen. The rest of the shows were alright, nice and young kid would enjoy them, but not great. Do note that many of the shows are conducted partially in French and partially English, so for non-French speaking visitors, please be aware of this, but there is usually enough English to help you follow what is happening. The could be better: 1) Walt Disney Studios Park had good rides, good shows, and nice music playing, but was generally underwhelming compared to the other Park. Given that it was the Christmas period, it felt like this Park was almost forgotten about by the management, there was no magical experience here, just nice rides and shows. 2) Ride Management could be better. With long ques and waiting times, it was puzzling to see empty seats on many of the rides. On my second time at Star Wars Hyperspace, I waited for 40mins only to see the roller coaster departing with some empty seats. When it was my turn, the seat next to me and the two behind me were empty, and there were still many waiting in line. I dont expect 100% capacity all the time, one or two empty seats is fine cos its not easy to match the group sizes all the time, but this was more than that. 3) The food was expensive and was ok, but not worth the value. The Bad. 1) Disneyland Paris needs to do a much better job enforcing the smoking zones. There are dedicated smoking zones throughout the park, but many visitors continue to smoke and vape as they walk around, and becuase it is often crowded, it is difficult to avoid these smokers. The rest of the visitors, including small kids should not have to breathe in these chemicals throughout the day. Overall, aside from these shortcomings, Disneyland Paris was a very enjoyable experience, and we would certainly visit again if we are back in Paris :)

Christmas is fairytale but what makes the beauty the magic of Christmas in this Park is not the characters but the staff. I had a nice meeting by chance and this person showed me another facet of Disney that warms my heart and reflects Christmas.

An almost obligatory trip to take the children but at the same time do not make it easy the stay you already have to go several days to be able to ride , see shows with long lines that make you lose a lot of time and if you want to go faster because to pay per person and day...luckily the children have so much enthusiasm that they endure whatever.

Big disappointment on our side mainly on two points. Despite the priority access it is necessary to book visits with the characters we had not received the information at the time of booking this change. If you arrive at 9:15 am we tell you that everything is already booked and Despite the priority pass you have to make the thread of 2 hours to be able to have a photo with the character or return the next day... and try your luck again but like at 9:15 am everything is off and the time to go to another character we answer you the same When you have to book the virtual queue in 30 seconds everything is looped. In summary it is really complicated to see the characters and even with a priority pass. Second very negative point we learned long after our reservation that the park was privatized and therefore closed at 7pm.... so 3 or 4 hours wasted in the park, we could not see the light parade since the last one was at 4pm and therefore in broad daylight. We were really disappointed because we were waiting for this one of its beautiful moments. We had no reduction despite this inconvenience. We paid the full price. We had not even been warned I noticed a few days before leaving while preparing the stay. There were also many inaccessible characters and no characters in our hotel. All put together and considering the price of our stay we are quite disappointed. There is really a lack of communication at the booking either about changes or early closure. We have 3h30 drive and so it is not possible for us to come regularly so these are very important elements. Too bad because the park at this time is magical.

3 days with 2 children No magic!! You don't come across any characters in the park. To have the chance to meet a princess, you have to book a slot: 2 slots proposed for approx 10/15 people each. Suffice to say that your children will not see one. Mickey, Minnie...? Going on holiday... Unless you have the “chance” to see them at Plaza Garden Restaurant. Mandatory menu: 80€ per adult, 50€ per child. The souvenir photo: 17€ 1 hour waiting time at each attraction, which lasts up to 2 minutes. Unless you pay extra to save some time. With children, for them to enjoy the attractions, count 200/250 €/day more The shows? In English And regarding those outdoors like the parade or the 10mn timed Princess Ball, your children will have trouble seeing them. Pseudo “adults”, aged 25 to 55, childless, not having grown up in their heads, push you to get the best seats to see their favorite characters (or their imaginary loves?). Grow up a little and make way for the children!! Mine came out frustrated, stressed. They don't want to go back to it. Thank you Disney for trampling on their dreams.

It's been a few years since I last visited, but it's lost none of its charm or fun. We took out a disney photo pass (very good value i thought). We met lots of characters and did all the rides and shows we wanted too. We stayed at Newport bay hotel for four nights so five days in the parks. The new light show at night is spectacular, and seeing the floats earlier on and the lighting of the christmas tree was truly disney at its best. The new star tours revamp is astounding, with no.less than 350 separate scenarios available, did it six times and each time had different aspects. Did character dining great food. Disney cast we as usual outstaning

Not Good - we expected far more. The Disney Park looked tired. It wasn’t clean, none of the cast members were friendly and I wouldn’t waste our money! We have been to other Disney parks and this one rates way below - the other park - Disney Studios - what a waste of time that one was - not sure why it was even still open? The new Frozen Park looks a long way away from the other two so just more money for them to get us to go there! We wouldn’t recommend.

I spent 4 days at Disneyland Paris with my partner and 4 days with my children. I made two hotels the Sequoia lodge and the Santa Fe, which were both very good, clean, and matched the expectations we had. The cast members of all the parks and hotels were really great, very kind, friendly and attentive. So my 5 star rating is well deserved. However, I noted two drawbacks: - the first is during queues at attractions (Avengers flight force for example) and at many shows (Together), there is a form of simultaneous bilingualism mixed together which is disturbing for people who are not perfectly bilingual. Indeed, this mixture of the 2 languages (French and English) on the same soundtrack takes us out of the immersion of the universe. On the other hand, on shows like Stitch lives, there are totally French or English sessions (and that's really great) and the parachute drop attraction has a soundtrack that sometimes plays in English, sometimes in French, which really allows total immersion. I understand that there are a lot of foreign visitors and that they must be allowed to understand, but I think Disney must not forget its French compatriots. Doing show sessions as well as soundtracks totally in French and totally English, would, in my opinion, be a real plus for everyone. – The second downside is food waste. Indeed, I was shocked by the behavior of people on buffets, filling 2-3 plates and eating almost nothing. At a time when there are still people who do not eat to their liking, and in view of the cost of food, I think it is high time that Disney paid for food waste. I can hear that people are on vacation, that they want to enjoy their vacation, but that does not give the right to waste food. Making people pay for waste at the end of meals would make it possible to make them responsible, in order to respect the food, the environment, but also and above all the work of the people who worked to prepare the food. Being on vacation doesn't mean acting like savages... I hope Disney will hear this request, which for me is really necessary, given the amount of people who do not eat to their liking even today, regardless of the cost that this may also represent for the company. Reducing food waste can help ensure that ticket, hotel or meal prices don’t rise, and that could also be part of Disney’s magic. Thank you for reading 😊.
