Great midnight layover tour

5.00I had an excellent first visit to Qatar with Sadiq during my 8hr layover. It was a midnight tour and it lasted three hours, hitting all the key tourist attractions of Qatar in detail (Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural Village and Pearl Island). I got to try a local drink and snack, take great pictures with the beautifully lit skyline and wander a little through uncrowded streets. The weather in December is perfect. Sadiq was an excellent tour guide and patiently answered all my questions about Qatar, the country, its culture and daily practices of the local/tourists. He has wonderful knowledge about Qatar and it made the tour all the more interesting for a first time visitor. The tour has piqued my interest and I would love to visit Qatar again! Thank you for your hospitality.

5.00Sadiq was a wonderful driver/guide. We got an amazing overview of Doha and would never have found these places on our own. He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share information and answer our many questions. The architecture here is amazing and learning about their culture first hand was great! We saw and experienced so much in our 8 hours together. Highly recommend a tour with Sadiq as your guide!

5.00So we had an overnight layover (10 hours) and didn't want to stay in the airport. We booked this tour last minute before boarding our flight to Doha. Our guide was on time and waiting for use when we arrived. He was very knowledgeable and showed us an amazing amount of things for the three to four hours we were together. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is willing to leave the airport during a long layover.
Midnight Tour - Worth it!

5.00We had an overnight layover in Doha. We weren't sure what to expect - would it really be worth it to go around Doha in the middle of the night? The tour wouldn't start until 11 p.m. on a Sunday night. We are so glad we went! Sadiq coordinated our pick up a couple of days before. He picked us up after we went through customs - which was really easy. There was a $20 visa fee that you can pay with a credit card and it's good for 2 years. We covered a lot of ground, got out and walked around at times, saw camels, falcons and Arabian horses, air conditioned streets, learned about the culture, etc. We felt 100 percent safe at all times. I was with my husband, but I was once a frequent solo traveler and would have felt comfortable doing this tour alone. Qatar wasn't on our list of places to explore, but we were so glad we took advantage of this opportunity.

5.00We had a 15 hour layover landing at 5:30 pm and did the city night tour. It was a fantastic way to spend our time and would highly recommend. Sadiq was a great guide and we learned a ton about Qatar and Doha. Our favorite stop was getting a snack at the Souq Waqif! This was time very well spent.

5.00We had an overnight layover in Doha and were thrilled that we could take a midnight tour to learn more about Qatar. It was absolutely worth it! Our guide Sadiq drove us around and answered our dozens of questions. We learned about the lives of Qatari citizens and residents, what housing is like, the education system, health care, religion, the government, etc. Everything was closed so we only saw the exteriors of buildings and areas (we got out several times to walk around and take photos) - everything we saw was so modern and clean and beautiful! Really impressive, similar to Dubai but less touristy. Definitely recommend this tour!
