Then it's over Wilmot Pass, stopping along the way to experience some of Fiordland's densest rainforest and to view the colorful alpine moss gardens before joining the 2-hour 45-minute Doubtful Sound Cruise that takes in the most dramatic scenery of Doubtful Sound.

Good excursion on the right day and weather

5.00What started as a rainy day turned in to a great waterfall presentation. The rain and clouds cleared and there were hundreds of waterfalls everywhere. Many of them lasting only a day or 2 after the rain. Great viewing, long day. Multiple transfers between busses and boats got tiresome.

5.00Beautiful and informative . We saw a large pod of dolphins swimming towards us and seals . The sunrise was stunning , the guides were interesting and fun .

5.00Fantastic trip. Amazing place. So peaceful. Scenery was amazing. Very special place. Fortunate to be followed by bottlenose dolphins travelling in the wake of the boat.

5.00Great excursion to Doubtful Sound! Total of 4 bus rides and 3 boat rides in total but well worth it! Beautiful scenery all around. Cruise on Doubtful Sound was amazing. Wasn’t prepared for some rough seas in the ocean but didn’t last too long. Saw NZ fur seals. Boat was comfortable and crew were friendly and helpful.
