On this fun and tasty tour we take you to our favorite hidden gems in the downtown core serving up delicious multi-cultural cuisine that is unique to Victoria led by a local foodie expert guide.
ON THE MENU: BC wine tasting, baked goods from one of Canada's best bakery, Middle Eastern street food, authentic Korean corn dogs, gourmet cheese, a decadent chocolate tasting, and French macarons. Samples may change depending on what restaurants are open. Please note this tour is a mix of savory and sweet samples
Make new friends, meet local business owners, hear stories about history, get amazing insider tips about where to eat next, and avoid tourist trap eateries with the help of a local guide.

5.00Eric, our tour guide, has a lot to share on this local foodies tour of Victoria, including history and things to do and see. He is a wealth of Victoria information, familiar with the local shops and restaurants where we enjoyed interesting and tasty delights. including an unusual Korean specialty, a 'soft bar' with an amazing winning interior focusing on a variety of non alcoholic brews, soft drinks, and a focus on tea bricks (If you have read Lisa See's "The Tea Girl of Humingbird Lane" you will know this form of tea vs our lose leaf/teabags). We also enjoyed a chicken mole taco with 'grandmother's recipe', sweet treats at three locations (chocolates, macrons, and a pastry shop where we enjoyed Bourbon Pecan mini tarts). We did NOT leave hungry!

5.00Erik did a FABULOUS job! We had a small group (8) so it was really easy to hear him, he took questions from everyone and told us a ton about the town/history. We never expected to get the amount of food/drinks that we did, we expected very small samples, but that was not the case! When the tour was over, we asked about a liquor store and he walked us there so we were sure to find it and make it back to our ship in time! I would absolutely recommend this tour and Erik to someone!

5.00Amazing! So much food, so much variety, easy walking, great company. Best thing we did in Victoria!!! We traveled as a group of 4, 3 of us were vegetarian and they accommodated this with great alternative options.

5.00Had a wonderful and incredibly filling time on the Downtown Food and City Tour. Erik was incredibly engaging and informed about history, the restaurants and restaurateurs, and the food that we were eating. We will be taking more food tours in our travels in the future!
