5.00It’s our first visit to Romania and we’ve just finished spending the day with Daniel! What an experience. From start to finish, he’s been absolutely faultless. From his initial contact to the day of the tour - exceptional. We started the day by him collecting us at the Hotel. First on the list was visiting Peles Castle which we can highly recommend. Daniel gave us a in depth guided tour which we both thoroughly enjoyed and learned a lot more than we would have without him as our guide. We would definitely recommend purchasing an extra ticket so he can guide you around this ornate and beautiful palace. We then proceeded to Bran Castle, which is known as Dracula’s castle. Unfortunately external guides are not allowed in the castle, but Daniel gave us an idea of what to expect before hand. As we had some time left in the afternoon, Daniel recommended we should go to Brasov which again, would highly recommend. Daniel did mention that he does a tour that enables you to stay the night here and would probably do this next time as it’s such a lovely city with so much more to see than what we were able to fit in. He recommended a restaurant in the square and we visited the Black Church too. He then drove us back to Bucharest in his immaculate car. We wouldn’t hesitate in booking with him again! Thanks again Daniel!

5.00We were so lucky finding our private tour with ‘Romania On The Map’. Our guide, Daniel, picked us up promptly at our hotel and brought us to the Dracula & Peles Castles, as well as some shopping time in Brasov. Daniel was an excellent guide and very informative. When we arrived to Peles Castle, Daniel was able to come inside with us and explained the Royal background. Having a private guide was so much better than being on a bus all day with 40 other people! Do yourself a favor and hire Romania on the Map for your guide!

5.00Daniel was a womderful guide. Highly professional and knowledgeable about everything from history to culture to wine and food and beyond. He was very helpful and flexible with all our needs. His car is very clean and neat and he drives very safely! Fully recommend!! We visitedthe Bran castle, Brasov and all the way to Craiova christmas market in one day. Everything went super smooth!

He was very knowledgeable about the area and all the places we visited: Bran Castle, Brasov and Peles Castle. He collected me directly from my hotel and dealt with all the logistics of the day in a very professional manner. He was also incredibly kind - I wasn’t feeling well and he accommodated my needs so well - thank you, Daniel! I highly recommend doing a day trip with Romania on the Map.

5.00The tour was super great! We had so much fun, we went to Peles Castle and took a full tour inside then visited Braşov city we have a delicious lunch & the weather was amazing. Also Mr. Nicolas has been a great tour guide. Highly recommended tour! We booked last minute and everything was arranged swiftly!

5.00Our driver and guide, Daniel, is an absolutely lovely person and the epitome of professionalism through and through. He certainly made our day trip to Bran, Brasov and Peles Castle a thoroughly enjoyable experience. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about all and everything related to Romanian history and most every question you might have along the way, plus he knows the inns and outs of alternative roads and ways to bypass parts of the inevitable heavy traffic. Definitely recommend booking a trip with him and his tour manager company. As for the places we visited, Peles Castle is probably the highlight, with it's extravagance that surpassed all expectations. The town of Bran and the historical military castle was also quite interesting, while having a traditional Romanian lunch in Brasov, and a stroll through the streets of its old town was certainly something to remember.
A perfect trip into the dramatic Romanian history.

5.00A fantastic day, filled with memories of this most dramatic place, the castle Bran and Transylvania... Our guide Florin was indeed the perfect driver and guide, having a great knowledge as well as a geunuine interest and pride of his countrys colorful history. And he most gladly and willingly shared it with us. A perfect guide for a perfect trip into Romanian history.

5.00This tour and the company was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at. And ot did not disappoint. The car was good, but Daniel, our guide, was incredible. Easy going, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. No matter what we asked him, he knew the answer. The tour itself was very good, interesting, and informative. I'm so glad we took this tour and would not like to have missed it. I highly recommend it .
