5.00My husband and I took the 3 hour coastal hike today with Shane and Loki🐾 IT. WAS. BEYOND. AMAZING. With Shane and Loki as our guides, we were immediately immersed in the local history, culture, and community. Shane was expert level knowledgeable, sharing from his own personal experiences and relationships. What’s more, he genuinely cared for his neighbors and community, which was clearly evident by our interactions with the locals. Their kindness and hospitality will never be forgotten. What a lovely place and what lovely people. The breathtaking views, charming markets, cozy restaurants are enough to encourage anyone to travel to Howth. On top of that, our tour greatly heightened our interest and understanding in Howth’s role in Irish history, religion, music, culture, folklore, ecology, economy, and ways of living. It felt like home. ❤️ Huge plus is that it seemed very dog friendly for those who would be interested—if you are, you’re my kind of people and you’ll love this. 1000/10 would recommend. I feel like we got more than a tour/hike. We got a glimpse of local life and I’m so grateful for the experience and opportunity. Many thanks to Howth Adventures. Book your trip. You won’t know what you’re missing until you go.

5.00We started at a lovely market, which gave us time to peruse before the hike. Our guide, Leoni, was super accommodating and insightful. The hike was a little over 3 hours and full of information and absolutely stunning sights; rained lightly on and off but nothing a good rain jacket couldn't handle. She stopped several times for a breather and photos; I highly recommend. Can't stress having solid shoes enough. She also sent everyone photos that she took along the way. 10/10, would absolutely do again.

5.00It was an amazing hike! First of all, since there were strong winds before and on the day, quite a lot of customers cancelled their experience, so it was quite a small group. Zach and Loki were lovely, and I got a ton of fascinating history about Howth and Ireland in general! The hike itself was slightly hard (+ the strong winds), but it was overall an incredible experience that was worth it! The scenery was cool, the cliffs looked astounding, and yeah, I had a great time there! Thanks again to Zach (and Loki!), and I'd recommend going on this hike if you're up for a history class and adventurous hike!

5.00This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Zach, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history. The views during the hike were amazing and you get to see a mix different terrains. We got to see some dolphins and a seal as well along the cliffs. We highly recommend this. Zach was very engaging and personable. He even recommended a super place to eat a delicious meal and arranged our reservation.

5.00Zach, Liam, and, of course, Loki the pup were a knowledgeable and amiable team, who led us on a fabulous adventure through their scenic locale. The sights were beyond beautiful. This experience was absolutely a top highlight of our time in Ireland. If you’re considering, just do it!

5.00Our tour guide Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable! He took us off the beaten path and took us to places we never would have found ourselves, was able to tell a lot of interesting information about the wildlife, and gave us amazing restaurant and live music recommendations.

5.00We did this hiking tour with Howth Tours, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The route took us along breathtaking coastal cliffs, lush hillsides, and hidden paths we never would have found on our own. The views of Dublin Bay and the Irish Sea were spectacular— every turn offered another postcard-perfect moment. Our guide Leonie was knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the area’s history, wildlife, and folklore. She shared fascinating stories about Howth’s ancient past, pointed out seabirds and seals, and made sure everyone felt comfortable at their own pace. The hike struck the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, with plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the scenery. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just someone who loves nature and wants to experience Ireland’s rugged beauty, this tour is a must. I left with amazing photos, fun memories, and a much deeper appreciation for Howth’s charm. Highly recommended!
