Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, Jameson Whiskey has been focused on their ambition to create unforgettable experiences. The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. in Dublin's Smithfield re-emerges after a 6-month re-development with a new whiskey tour called the Bow St. Experience that brings the stories of Jameson’s rich heritage and on-going innovations to life in an immersive, 45-minute tasting tour of the home of Ireland’s best-selling Irish whiskey.

The fully-guided Jameson Distillery Bow St. Experience brings the stories of Jameson's rich heritage and on-going innovations to life in an immersive, 45-minute tasting tour of the home of Ireland's best-selling Irish whiskey. Includes comparative whiskey tasting and Jameson signature cocktail. Beginning on the first floor, the Bow St Experience offers three different rooms that focus on the highest quality ingredients, triple-distillation process, and constant innovation that has resulted in an exceptionally smooth whiskey that is celebrated and enjoyed all around the globe. The story will of course have a happy ending as all guests receive a comparative whiskey tasting and a celebratory glass of Jameson whiskey as part of the tour. Your experience will conclude in JJ's Bar, where you can share a story and a whiskey with new friends.

4.00The tour was,as described, about 45 minutes long and in my opinion the perfect length of time! Didn't drag on at all but lots of information was imparted. Very well delivered by the tour guide and had a generally friendly atmosphere. You get your drink on arrival and can choose between a dram or a whiskey and ginger - both of which were very nice! After the tour you can go and sit in the bar and have more drinks. It's a very nice bar and surprisingly good value (especially for Dublin)!

3.00The tour started with a drink, and a nice area to talk. The tour itself had a lot of information, but it was delivered very monotonously and quickly so it was hard to follow. The presentation was good, I just wish the tour operator had slowed down, and maybe added a little personality to the tour.
