A fully escorted whiskey trail through Dublin City over one afternoon. This a private tour for you and your travel companions only.

We are spending time today in the magical Liberties neighborhood of Dublin, the onetime whiskey and beer capital of the world! We take you to three fully operational whiskey distilleries. We have formulated the visits in such a way, that we avoid repetition - you only need to hear the 'how it's made' tour once!

We travel in executive transport from stop to stop, in the company of your Whiskey Specialist Host.

While on tour with us, you will sample many really great new Irish whiskeys, many that you won't have seen before, and your Host will bring Dublin to life! This is a city tour with whiskey in it's heart.

John was a great host! He arrived promptly and took us to craft whisky distilleries that were all in fabulous buildings with each having a fascinating history that he shared with us. It was a perfect couple of hours on a chilly, rainy day. I highly recommend!

Our guide was professional and knowledgeable in both the history of the distilleries and Dublin effect upon them. Brought the area alive and made the whisky taste even better with his insights. Great tour!

Participated in this tour as part of a package excursion. So glad I did! I went to distilleries I would not have found on my own. Such unique and and fascinating stories behind the distilleries that are as unique as the liquors being produced. Highly recommend this tour.

This was the best tour we did in Dublin! It’s well structured, the tastings are all different and the distilleries are all different! We are long term scotch drinkers but not anymore!

John gave great tours and tastings of the Pearse Lyons and Teeling distilleries. The Roe & Co. distillery had a wonderful cocktail class to go with their tour. A very bespoke experience indeed.

My Dad is a HUGE whiskey fan and I wanted to treat him to a nice day out sampling whiskey. My plan was to visit the distilleries in Dublin individually , but then I came across Whiskey Island, and read about their half day whiskey tour in Dublin. Not only do they take you to three distilleries, but the visits are all unique. And John knows the neighbourhood so well, there was so much about the Liberties that I never knew or appreciated. We loved it all , a must for whiskey fans.

We want to tell you that Karl was amazing. We learned so much today, but also had an amazing time. Robert, the taxi driver, was also a font of stories. This is our 10th day in Ireland, and they were right at the top of our favorite experiences. You can't possibly pay them enough.
Even better than the Scottish whisky tours!

Our tour with John really was a wonderful experience and the different distilleries along with their stories and Irish personalities were a great mix. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour, and John organised everything to work so well with the timings We will definitely pass on good things to friends and colleagues

We all really enjoyed this Whiskey Tour and think the southern Irish whiskey industry has a great future.In particular John ,our guide had a great relationship with the distilleries especially the smaller ones ,who are trying to do something different to the larger brands. We also loved to hear all about Southern Ireland and John had a depth of knowledge which was incredible. I have already suggested to our three children and their partners that we consider a tour as the family next year as they will love it.

We did Dublin’s distillery trail with John and we both really enjoyed it a lot! John went above and beyond to accommodate us and he made us feel very comfortable. He was highly knowledgeable and engaging.
