5.00The tour was great! Mike and John ran everything smoothly and exactly on schedule. Mike gave guided tours at both locations which were a crowd favorite. The views at Glendalough and the history of Kilkenny are well worth seeing!

5.00Despite the heavy rain we had a lovely and interesting day exploring the monastic site at Glendalough and then Kilkenny . Guide Phil was great and gave us all the relevant information about the sites as well as amusing Irish anecdotes. Driver Adam was expert in the country roads, drop offs and parking and timings were perfect.

5.00All 3 of us would recommend this beautiful tour. We hiked around Glendalough Valley in Wicklow Mountains National Park (top and left photos) and the surrounding countryside where many movies were filmed and the actor Daniel Day Lewis lives. We loved the charming town of Kilkenny and the Dominican Black Abbey founded in 1225 with its stunning stained glass windows. Our tour guide told great stories and sang beautiful Irish tunes! What a wonderful day!
