When you come to Croatia, a MUST see is the Pearl of the Adriatic coast which is full of history and culture. It has a history of over one thousand years and is visible in every part of this city.
The city is a living museum, a live stage and has an ideal connection between its historical past and modern day. It is surrounded by medieval walls that are 1940 metres long and preserved in their original form. They are open to visitors and are the city’s greatest attraction.
Since 1979, the town has been under UNESCO protection.

You will see: -A town full of monuments or museums under UNESCO patronage. -Starting from the 1940 m long walls with bulwarks, the Stradun, Orlando’s pillar, the gothic renaissance palace of Sponza and the celebrated Rector’s Palace as well as the famous church and monastery. -Once a part of the Republic of Dubrovnik, there is also the nearby Pelješac peninsula with the 5.5 km long walls of the stone town of Ston. Built on the remains of a Greek colony, the island of Korčula with streets that have a fish bone pattern is a true urban gem and asides from the traditional knight’s game called “Moreška” and is most famous nowadays for being the birth place of Marko Polo. -In Ston we will try the oysters and mussels, which are considered to be one of the tastiest and finest shell fish in the Adriatic. Besides lamb and veal cooked in embers under an iron bell, this region’s gastronomic chapter consists of eel and frog stew from the Neretva valley. 5.00Great way to spend a day! I travel solo and this was a great tour with a mix of guided tour and lots of free time to explore on your own. Our guide Gabriella was very knowledgeable about Croatian history and I learned a lot of new things. She was very friendly and kept everything on time! I highly recommend this tour if you don’t like being tied to a guided group for the whole day.

5.00Our trip with Gabby and George today was memorable, amazing and informative. Lots of history about Croatia was given by Gabby, she was very engaging. Our driver was very friendly and helpful also. I would definitely recommend this trip, the walk around the City Walls is a must if you’re visiting Dubrovnik and Gabby and George are the perfect ones to guide you. Inside Dubrovnik city walls gives you the full experience of life as it used to be. We loved this trip and would 💯 recommend it 🥰

5.00Wonderful day trip to Dubrovnik with Gabriela our fantastic guide. She informed us about the history of Croatia along the way to Dubrovnik, when we arrived we did a walking tour of Dubrovnik with her which was amazing. Highly recommended tour.

5.00We left Split promptly at 7:00 AM with our guide, Gabriella, who was full of energy and made the journey enjoyable from the very start. As we drove through Split, she gave us a fascinating overview of the city’s history, pointing out important landmarks and sharing her incredible local knowledge along the way. When we arrived in Dubrovnik, Gabriella guided us around the old town, providing insightful historical details that really brought the city to life. After the tour, we had three hours of free time to explore on our own, which was the perfect balance. This trip is an absolute must if you’re staying in or around Split. Well worth taking a day out to experience Dubrovnik in such a well-organized and enjoyable way. Hava Gabi

5.00It was a really good tour, Gabi is a great guide, the tour is perfect as a "first taste" of Dubrovnik. One thing I learned from this experience is that people should spend a few days in Dubrovnik because ir has a lot to explore. Eventhough, it was definetely worth it!
