We invite you to experience the authentic Beijing lifestyle by visiting the local fresh markets near the Hutong neighborhood right in the city center. And we will select the best quality ingredients for cooking our dumplings together. After the shopping, we will go to a traditional Beijing-style courtyard to join the dumpling cooking class. You'll make dumplings alongside other participants, but don't worry – everyone has their own materials and ingredients. You'll be immersed in a warm and intimate atmosphere, following the lead and instructions step-by-step.

Two married couples participated. We had a great time. Jasmine was very friendly and taught me a lot during the market visit. They explained many things like food, dried foods and alcohol that they did not see in their country. Nancy was also kind and showed me how to make dumplings in an easy to understand way. It was very interesting. We enjoyed talking about each other's backgrounds and current jobs outside of dumplings. The opportunity to interact with the local residents was very valuable and I had a good time getting a glimpse of local life. I hope to join their tour when I visit again!

Hello! My sister and I took this cooking class during our China's sister trip. Learning how to make the dumplings was so much fun! It was great to tour the local market and learn about the foods native to China. Check out the very purple eggplants! Jasmine and Nancy were great to talk to and answer our questions. We had great discussions about life in China. They gave us recommendations for Hot Pot and places to go out. I would highly recommend this intimate cooking class to learn how to cook dumplings and have a great discussion with locals.

Super fun experience! 2 young girls from Beijing with excellent English. We went to a local market together to get groceries and made the Dumplings from scratch. Beautiful building that we prepped and cooked in.
