Get ready to chase waterfalls—and a bit of adventure! Hop into a SuperTruck and join us as we tackle the wild backcountry roads of the Westfjord Highlands, Iceland style.
We'll kick things off in Ísafjörður, navigating through not one but two underground tunnels (yes, we're going under mountains), soaring over scenic peaks, and hugging the edges of stunning fjords.
Our star attraction? The majestic Dynjandi waterfall, roaring proudly in Arnarfjörður fjord. We’ll park for about an hour, giving you the option to hike up to its base for a closer look—or just enjoy the view from the parking lot if you're feeling more “relax and snack” than “hike and sweat.”
If conditions allow, we’ll cap off our trip with a drive over one of the stunning mountain roads, either Hrafnseyrarheiði or Álftamýrarheiði, open only in the summer for the bravest adventurers. If the roads are a no-go, we’ll tunnel our way back to Ísafjörður like the subterranean explorers we are.

Here you will have time to walk up to the majestic waterfall Dynjandi and hear it's thundering roar up close.
Hrafnseyri
A historic farm with a museum, a church dating back to late 19th century, and a cafe in a turf house where you can get refreshments. Whales are often seen feeding out in the fjord from this location.

5.00Loved our trip out to the falls! Even though the day was rainy and cold, our guide made this experience well worth it. After our visit to the falls, the off-road portion of the trip was very exciting, and the climb ended with a breathtaking 360 view. We loved this trip and will for sure be booking it again in the future!

5.00Great way to see Isafjodur! It was raining so the super truck came in really handy. We did some considerable exploring of mountain tops with gorgeous views all while learning about the Icelandic lifestyle as well. I would highly recommend this tour. Note, it was “semi-private” - the van fits 7 I think.

5.00This turned out to be a private tour with two couples. It was a super easy pick-up from the cruise ship terminal. Our guide/driver/owner of the company was wonderful. He did a great narration throughout the trip and was very accommodating to customize the schedule to our desires. The waterfall itself truly is one of the best (we saw many) and being able to go off-roading, away from the large buses, was wonderful. You also stop at a quaint, small farm that has a museum that details the life of Iceland’s national hero. They also serve some delicious “happy marriage cake”. You get to travel up mountain trails to some magnificent views!

5.00Fun times in a supertruck. Gummi was a great tour guide and the off-roading was crazy (fun)! Can't believe some of the routes that we took! Gummi took great care of us though and we always felt safe. A fun way to get to see the amazing waterfalls. We never felt rushed during the tour and hearing some of Gummi's personal stories about Isafjordur was awesome.

5.00Our trip to the waterfall was amazing! Our guide had a lot of information about the area and the size of our small group was perfect. This tour takes you to the waterfall and then for another adventure with some amazing views and a fun ride! I would highly recommend this tour! It was much better and more personal than the big bus tours!

5.00We had an incredible experience. We had no tours booked, decided we would like to see the falls, so started looking at the local providers. Stoped and had a chat with Gudnundur, who was standing in front of his súper truck. After a nice chat, we decided to book. Best decision ever! The vehicle is impressive! It was very clean, comfortable and he was a very good driver and Knowledgeable guide. We did the falls, an historique farm, a village, but the best part of the tour was when we went off-roading and climbed to the top of a local mountain. What a view!!! Worth every penny! The tour was approx 5 hours, and he guaranteed that we would be back before all on board time. I would encourage you to book with them directly. Absolutely recommend this tour if you are in Isafjordur!
