Karya
The tour starts in Karya, the main mountain village in Lefkada. Not long after setting off, you’ll leave the village behind and start climbing along quiet, winding roads with amazing views over Karya and the surrounding landscape. We’ll take a break at a great viewpoint to snap some photos and give you a quick rundown of what you’re looking at.
After riding along quiet mountain roads and gradually making our way up toward the island’s interior, we’ll pass through scenic hills dotted with hundreds of old dry-stone terraces—traces of a time when the land was carefully cultivated. It’s a peaceful and beautiful area that gives a real sense of the island’s history. From there, we head to Ammokampos (“sand fields”), a sand quarry tucked at the base of a remote mountain. The scenery here shifts completely—suddenly you’re in a wide, open space that feels almost alien compared to the rest of the island. It’s a surprising and memorable spot that really stands out from the rest of the ride.

Duration: 3 hours: The tour will skip a few of the stops to allow for an easier ride for children between 4 and 11 years old. Child ebike and/or Tag Along : For kids we can provide either a tag along to attach onto an adult's ebike (4-10 y.o.) or a child e-bike (8-11 y.o.)

5.00Antonio made sure we had a top experience, he helped pick a nice route. He also warned us for the seasonal spiders and some more difficult paths with loose rocks. The views were gorgeous and the route was challenging and diverse. It is an experience we will not easily forget. We had food at a nice little village along the route and it was all like dream: the beautiful empty nature, stunning views, the challenging but not too heavy route, with almost no traffic at all, the delicious food and the excellent ebikes. A day trip that I highly recommend, also because Antonio is very considerate and will ensure you have a great day.

5.00A highlight of our trip! We had an awesome day doing the self guided e-bike tour. Loved the route, stunning scenery and saw parts of the island we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Super friendly and helpful too - definitely recommend!

5.00The e-bikes were very good; the explanation Antonio gave was clear and complete regarding the bikes as well as the route. It was nice that we received water bottles, panniers, helmets, and a power bank at no extra cost. Antonio cycled along for the first part to check if everything was going well. The route was very beautiful. It is highly recommended to cycle this route if you are on Lefkada.

5.00Great ride and great service by Antonio from Lefkada E-Bike Adventures. Bikes were in immaculate condition, Antonio also cycled along for a bit to see whether one of the kids was comfortable on the bike (otherwise we could swap for a tag-along bike). E-bikes are a necessity on Lefkada unless you are an experienced cyclist and up for a challenge as flat roads are practically non-existent. Tour took us about 5 hrs including lunch stop and stops at view points.

5.00A brilliant way to experience the wonderful scenery. We hired 4 e-bikes and had a glorious trip to the roof of the island. You’re lined up with google maps to follow a truly spectacular route to the peak at a little church with amazing views. We stopped at a lovely restaurant for a snack lunch. The bikes are very high quality and there was a great baby seat for our 9 month old. Nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend.

5.00We have as family visited Lefkada 5 times. We have always been hiking around the island - by car. This time we had to try a ride on E-bike for the first time. We were greeted by Antonio. Extremely professional and very trustworthy. We got made a route based on our wishes about the surroundings and difficulty. Antonio helped put the route into my phone and also gave us a powerbank with as security. He accompanied us very well on the way - just a short walk. That was really nice. The tour on E-bike was fantastic and took us to places that showed us the island from a completely different side. A great experience for all of us. We'll be back.

5.00Excellent tourguide and bike rental. Antonio is very friendly and helpful!! The e-mtb bikes are in almost new conditions, for safety you get spare-tires and tools. We did a self guide tour (with two kids) and Antonio went with us from the start to see if we were all comfortabel and ready to cycle on the bikes. Amazone views and challenging gravel tracks on our way, enjoyed a lot of the ride. Extra was the lunchtip in Eglouvi, we had a great meal.

5.00Beautiful tour of a lesser known part of the island of Lefkada led by Antonio .. very prepared both in cycling and in telling the places visited. I was alone and it was very kind of him to put me in a small group with whom it was nice to ride in company. I recommend it to all those who want to admire breathtaking views from heights easily accessible by ebike on low-traffic roads.

5.00It was a perfect organised Tour. The bike was really easy to ride and the tour was easy to handle. Antonio showed us places with the best view over the isle and He told us a lot about the history of Lefkada. It was a great tour I can totally recommend.
