We offer a great experience to explore the beauty of east Bali, especially the popular photography spot "Gate of Heaven" of Lempuyang Temple. We will start the tour at 08.00 from the hotel, it will take around 2 - 3 hours drive to Lempuyang Temple (Depend on location of your hotel). We will take you to the famous photo spot of "Gate of Heaven". If the sky is clear and weather is good, you will capture Mount Agung as background of the gate. Next, we will drive to Tirta Gangga, a former Royal Palace of Karangasem Kingdom. After visiting the palace, we will stop for lunch at local restaurant. Next, we will drive to Taman Ujung. It is a beautiful park with big fish pond surrounds the old Karangasem Empire heritage building. And our last stop is Virgin Beach, here you could chill and relax before driving back to hotel.

Lempuyang Temple

Lempuyang Temple is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with Besakih (aka the ‘mother temple’ of Bali). It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali.

Tirta Gangga Water Palace is situated in the middle of rice fields around the natural springs of Rejasa, approximately 7 km. (5 miles) north of Amlapura, the main town of east Bali, Indonesia. Tirtagangga royal watergarden is composed mainly by water, plants and sculptures, is a well-known cultural object of Bali and it belongs to the royal family of Karangasem.

Nyoman Budiasa was our tour guide, and he was amazing. He arrived on time and sent a photo of himself so you knew who he was on pickup. Provided cold water and a nice cool car on arrival. He accompanied us on the whole duration of the tour which was reassuring as you wouldn’t get lost. He explained everything about each individual part of the tour. He was very knowledgable and gave us a lot of information about all aspects of the trip. Overall a very good trip with an amazing guide, nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t recommend him enough. For info, the trip was booked through ‘get your guide’ as it offered the most value for money and we’re glad we picked it as it was excellent.

We just finished day 4 of our 5 day tour with Budi as our guide and driver. First, Budi is an excellent (and safe) driver who is always punctual. Also, yesterday I asked him to purchase Indonesian headdresses for the two men in the group as well as offerings for the temple visit and he delivered both. By the way, lunches are included for four days and dinner for the fifth day. Good meals. The cost is truly a bargain and we have been able to see parts of Bali that most visitors never see. Yesterday I mentioned that I had seen that there is an Indonesian fabric art in addition to batik and Budi arranged a trip to see the village where it is produced. Every day has brought wonderful new experiences and each day seems better than the last thanks mostly to Budi, our wonderful guide and driver.

I highly recommend this tour company and Wayan Netra as a guide! 🙏🏻He spoke about life in Bali, its history, culture, and religion. He also talked about the places we visited! Bali isn't just about Instagram photos! Enjoy the conversation and admire the island's beauty.

The Lempuyang temple visit was peaceful, insightful, and beautifully organized. Our driver, Budi, was outstanding — professional, friendly, and attentive, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. He took us to see really nice places, even took some really nice photos of us. His excellent service truly enhanced the overall experience. Highly recommended!

We have been the guide Wayan, he has been a magnificent driver (the best of all tours), very friendly at all times and also has always used the translator so that we understand everything. He has also accompanied us everywhere and taken many photos. Thank you very much for the coffee plantation detail. We recommend the tours 😁😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Beautiful tour, the temples are impressive and the Virgin Beach actually very beautiful and not as crowded as feared. However, long journey time (from Kuta)

We had a really nice time on this tour. Our guide, Naya, was fantastic—very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with taking pictures. The weather wasn't the best, but we still had a very enjoyable experience thanks to Naya and the beautiful locations. It's a long day of driving, but we felt it was well worth it to see that part of Bali. Would recommend.

The Tour was excellent, my favorite place we visited was the gate of heaven and tirta ganga. Our Tour guy Nyoman Budiasa was wonderful, he took care of all what we need for this Tour. He was very patient, polite and professional. I would love to have Nyoman Budiasa as my Tour guy again. Thank you Nyoman for a great experience!!! 😊❤️

Such an amazing day! The views were breathtaking and the entire day was perfect. Mur is the best guide ever, he knows his way around all these sites and the best places to get photos. He's always asking for your phone so he can take the right picture so that you have the perfect memory. This day could not have been any better!
