Our favorite tour to recommend with the most bang for your buck! See two iconic Zion landmarks in a 1 hr rugged Jeep tour. First we wind through the pine forest reaching a stunning view of Checkerboard Mesa. Next onto a rugged descent of several hundred feet into Jolley Gulch where we make our second stop. Here you can take an optional two minute unguided hike to see a top down view of the Jolley Gulch slot canyon that reaches 200 feet down into its narrow canyon walls. We then climb our way out, crossing the the river bed several times as we work our way back on top of the Ponderosa plateau and back home.

Zion National Park

We will travel in a loop to Checkerboard Overlook and then down to Jolley Gulch and then back to our starting point. All within a one hour tour of close proximity. In fall and winter months, be prepared for cold weather! Make sure you bring hats, gloves, coats, etc. to keep you warm while you enjoy the tour.

I highly recommend!! Teresa was amazing. So informative and drove safe. We loved it! We went in the winter and had beanies and gloves but the jeep also had blankets for us.

Mormon was our guide and he was fantastic! Super knowledgeable about the area/plants. Awesome view points! Fun jeep ride that has some fun rugged terrain and you get to walk your first steps into Zion if you just got here. We had hiked elsewhere in Utah the day before and this was the perfect intro to Zion that kept our minds busy and our legs rested :) Thanks Mormon for a great start to our trip!

Very fun Jeep ride and the two lookout points were beautiful. Checkerboard Mesa and Jolley Gulch. We had Hollie as our guide. She was really fun and did a great job! Learned a bit about the landscaping and certain trees. She gave us some of her other favorite places to go in Zion and in Bryce National Park.

Mike was great! Shared alot of information about the tress, the property and history of what we saw in the tour. It was a fun tour! Would recommend for sure!!
