Please note our premium eBikes are PEDAL ASSIST, they DO NOT have a throttle. In the Nature Reserve there are steep inclines and declines; moderate fitness and confidence cycling on the road with occasional traffic are required.
Your rental commences and ends at the EBike Experience Store, Ocean Village. Distance: from cruise ship terminal: 15 minutes walk; from border: 15 minutes walk; from Midtown coach park: 5 minute walk; from Market Place Bus Terminal: 1 minute walk
PLEASE NOTE a passport is required to enter Gibraltar from Spain

Optimise your visit to Gibraltar by exploring on a premium Riese&Müller eBike at your own pace, using our route on the Smartguide App which highlights all of the Rock's finest attractions. The eBike is the most efficient and flexible means of transport for your visit. The top of the Rock is only accessible on foot or by bike, taxis and tour buses are restricted to alternative routes. Enjoy the manageable pedal-assisted climb all the way to the top and an exhilarating descent back into town, with the freedom of stopping when and where you like for information and photos! Your premium eBike comes equipped with a handlebar phone mount so that you can easily follow the guided route, and a back rack to carry your bag. A security lock and cycle helmet are also included to ensure you have everything you need for this incredible adventure!

5.00Bikes were a great way to explore Gibraltar, the electric peddle assist made getting up to the attractions at the top of the Rock much easier. The bikes were in great condition, and typical city electric bikes which are a great match for the type of riding, all the equipment was provided and the member of staff that got us set up and going was great with providing maps and hints to make sure we got the best out of our trip out on the bikes

5.00We did the ride around the back side of the Rock, up to the top, and down into town. It took us about 6 hours because we like to stop and learn, and could easily have been all day. Very friendly staff made it a great day! If you think Gibraltar is “just a rock” like I did, grab a bike and learn the real story! (I am not Norma…that is my mother in law and Viator will not let me change it from a booking last year!)

5.00Stuart and his E bikes are top-notch!! These e-bikes are a great way to explore the city. They include a self-guided map in an app that you’ll need to download before your ride. I did have some trouble staying connected while biking and eventually lost access to the guided tour map, so I ended up switching to Google Maps. One fair warning: if you’re planning to ride the e-bike up to the top of the Rock, be prepared for a bit of a challenge. The climb is fairly steep and can still be tough even with the assistance of the e-bike. Overall, my sister and I completed the tour of the Rock. We had fun , along with an excellent workout!! :-)

3.00The rental staff were super helpful and friendly. The app sucked. Pop ups kept trying to upsell the “premium version” and interrupting the tour. You cannot use the app while riding due to having to tap the screen multiple times while watching for pedestrians and traffic. Perfect cool biking weather for two inexperienced adventurers. Equipment was in great condition - we were not. Enjoyed the flat in-town trails. Bike lanes were closed in several places due to construction - with poor signage. No bike lanes in the historic areas. On the way to/from The Rock you need to share the narrow road (no shoulders) with scary traffic. The climb up to the nature preserve and historic sites, monkeys, etc. is for people in top condition! E bikes provided a gentle assist but it was very hard work and I would not recommend this for the average person.

4.00It was a fun experience. We didn't make it to the top of Gibraltar but we are both in our 60's. This gives travelers another option rather than piling into a cab with a whole bunch of other people.

4.00It was very nice,a lot of steep hill but the bike were great to help us climbed them, it was a bit hard for my wife though.the only disappointing thing is we had to pay to enter the top of the mountain (30 euro) wish we had a bit more time as we had to go back on the cruise ship...the staff was very friendly and helpful!

5.00It was an amazing experience. The guy that took care of us was very nice and helpful. It is a little hard to get to the top of Gibraltar Rock but once you are there it's amazing. The best part is that you go at your own pace and visit wherever you like to. The shop closed at 4:00 pm but the friendly guy let us return the bikes anytime after that (shop has a lockbox to leave the keys). I forgot his name but thanks to him for this great experience.
Great shop, great guys. Best way to see the Rock!

5.00Great e-bike shop. We dropped in without a reservation and Stuart made it happen - managed to get a couple of bikes for us, and we were on our way! The downloadable google map route worked perfectly, given that our mobile phone service provider did not cover Gibraltar. We took the bikes for 2.5hrs, which allowed us to tour the rock, climb the rock, and visit some of the very interesting sites along the way. Super staff, good value.
