5.00The guide was very knowledgeable and gave advice on other parts of the castle to visit as we went round, as well as speaking about lots of different points around the castle, its entrance and views from various points along the walls.

He shared so many interesting facts about the history of the castle and told the stories in such an engaging way that he had us laughing throughout. His knowledge, humour, and enthusiasm made the whole experience really memorable. It was well worth doing, and I’d definitely recommend it.”

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Alistair, he was full of knowledge and it made the experience great for adults and children. We braved the wind and the rain and left with a great deal of knowledge about Scotland, Edinburgh and the castle. Would highly recommend!

It’s a must see when at Edinburgh. It cold, so make sure to wear your jacket and comfortable shoes.
