On the 124th Food Walk Tour, we’ll stroll to six local food stops—Duchess Bake Shop, The Butchery, Juana Ines, Culina To Go, KB & Co, and Tiramisu Bistro—spending about 30 minutes at each to hear their stories and enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences. Our featured stops rotate seasonally, so there’s always something new to taste. As we wander between cafes and boutiques, you’ll soak in the vibrant mural art, historic storefronts, tree-lined sidewalks, and the buzzing community spirit that make 124th Street so special.
We’ll take a tour onto the tree-lined Promenade boardwalk, where you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the North Saskatchewan River winding through the lush River Valley. Pause to snap photos of the sunlit slopes, meandering trails, and distant downtown skyline as you breathe in the fresh, riverside air. Then, refreshed by the scenery, we’ll head back to 124th Street to continue our culinary adventure.

The Whyte Ave Food Walk Tour led by Hannah and Richard was such a great time! As locals we're no strangers to Whyte, but it was really interesting learning about the history of the area in between stops. Our favourite stop was Taqueria El Chingon, where we enjoyed the most delicious suadero tacos. Hearing from the owners/staff at each place also added so much value to our experience! We finished the tour absolutely stuffed, and really could not have asked for better guides to enjoy our time with!

I cannot recommend this experience enough! Worth every penny & then some. We spent over 4 hours walking, learning, & eating with the 124 Street Tour. Only posted some of the food. I suggest wearing comfy pants as you’ll eat so much food! The tour guides were all patient, fun, & wonderful. Can’t wait to do the other tours!
