  Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing very interesting facts about the island and points of interest as we passed. Driver was excellent and navigated the tricky roads expertly. The beach is breathtaking and the stops along the way add to the experience. Went mid-May so not high season, and had plenty of space on bus and at the beach. Would probably be more crowded in July/August.

  Elafonissi beach is a trip worth taking. First stop in the trip was to visit a historical cave. Be prepared to walk a steep 257 steps up to the cave. But, it was well worth it. Spectacular views. The beach itself is absolutely beautiful. No waves, shallow water that runs a mile deep. Crystal clear water, pale pink sand and a nice little taverna to stop and grab a bite to eat.

  summary: absolute worst company I’ve ever booked with Absolutely AWFUL experience. Booked this 3 months in advance, confirmed with them the day before the pick up time and the location. Got to the location 20 minutes early (we were so excited as we LOVE beaches and this one was just rated number 1!) , van arrived 5 minutes late and said they didn’t have us on the list , we showed them the reservation and they ignored us and hurried off. We called the office right away — kept being told to call back in two minutes as they looked into the situation. An hour goes by and they are like yes we messed up but now the van is too far so only option is to refund you. We only had this one day to go to the beach and we explained that to them, we asked if they could drive us in a taxi there since they didn’t get us and they said no and laughed in our face and said “oops”. When I explained how disappointed we were , the lady was confused and said we should be satisfied with a refund. We ended up spending 130 euros on a taxi to get to the beach instead and took the public bus home. I would recommend you plan to take the bus there and back- it’s 10 euros each way, and they won’t deny you access or laugh in your face!! They also claimed they called me back a few times when they “accidentally “ hung up but then when I asked them what my number was they read off a number that was not mine and I had given them my number 3 times prior.

  All information very clear regarding pick-up point and time and the organizer made sure you were prepared and had all information you needed well a head of time, with even a link to the exact pick-up point. The tour were great, the busride over the mountain in itself an adventure and really beautiful. The Elafonisi lagoon was well worth a visit- even if we did not se much of the fabled pink sand. We appreciated the stop both at the cave in the way to the beach and the taverna on the return, as good opportunities to get something more out of the day and get to stretch the legs. The folks at the taverna was very kind and generous and the place had a genuinie feel. Perhaps the stop here was a bit short- we were unsure if we would have the time to finish a hot meal.
