  Team was very supportive of our need to receive the bikes first thing in morning at our hotel. Good instructions on how to use the equipment. Bikes were more worn than previous rental experiences.

  The service for the bike rental was excellent. They were delivered on time and we were given a map with points of interest explained. Some of the bikes were great, but one was not and the unlucky person who got it had to work a lot harder. Cycling around the island was a really nice way to see Moorea. The side trip to Belvedere was excellent.

  Jesse and Audrey were warm, friendly, patient, and helpful. All the gear was suitably arranged to fit and be comfortable. There was even a wire basket attached behind the seat. I wore padded cycling shorts as l was unsure and felt ambitious to circle the island of Moorea by E bike. Being electric, this made it easy to go uphill. It was like being on a rocket! The bike lane is not maintained in every section of Moorea, and you always need to be cautious on a busy road (weekend traffic to be expected). Be prepared for all weather conditions, and a dip in the sea.

  Owners are friendly and on time at first contact and explaining relatively well the bikes. Provided a map, suggested interesting places to stop on our exploration of the island and answered questions we had. We had an unfortunate malfunction of one of the bikes but a replacement one was brought to us within 50 minutes. Got a "silence treatment" from Jesse, one of the owner, his way of expressing his frustration.

  This company is amazing! The bikes were in excellent condition and they were delivered to us! We went around the whole island plus up Mt. Belvedere!

• Great way to experience Moorea

  We enjoy renting bicycles when we travel so we decided to arrange E bike rentals for our trip. There are a few companies who do this on the island, but we decided to go with this company. The booking process was easy and the owners were friendly. Prior to the ride we were taught how to use the E bikes fitted for them and given helmets and locks. The bikes were great but needed some maintenance as they seem to mysteriously shift gears on their own when you hit a bump. Also, my bike vibrated slightly, which was a little strange. The ride itself was fabulous. It is absolutely the best way to see this island they even let you take the bikes up to the Belvedere Lookout, which is spectacular! The value was tremendous. It cost us approximately half as much as it would to rent bikes in the US. The bikes had great batteries so we were able to ride for the entire time of our eight hour rental. I would highly recommend this activity, but you might want to test drive your bike before you takeoff and make sure everything is mechanically sound.

  

• Excursion with Donovan

  Surprisingly this is a relaxing excursion. Our guide Donovan took us to the Moorea lookout offering us a splendid spectacle. Making this trip by electric bike allows you to take full advantage of all the decor available to us. Which is not really possible in a vehicle. During the round trip we make several stops (marae, agricultural high school, eels in a waterway, place to eat, etc ...). All along Donovan gives us his knowledge of the local flora, the history and custom of the island as well as the Polynesian triangle. What made this trip unforgettable remains Donovan who is a radiant person and proudly represents Polynesia. With him it was more than the performance. This is a time of sharing!   We took our family around the island which we should have re-thought that bright idea. I would suggest picking a section of the island and make fun there. When the sun comes out, you can get sun burnt without coverage and if you haven't rode a lot, your little bum bum can be affected lol. The owners were great and sweet and kind and very professional.

  I would highly recommend touring Moorea on e-bikes from E-Bike Moorea. They came to my hotel and delivered my ebike. Since this was a last second decision on my part, my main goal was to try and ride the island within the allotted 4hr time rental frame. While it is doable, I was starting around 1:30PM which is during the hottest part of the day (Nov 2024). I decided to head out counter clockwise (exiting right when you're leaving Manava). Despite the heat, I was having a blast and even had enough time to quickly stop at Snack Rotui about 3mi away. However, being under a time crunch and pedaling mostly uphill really hard for 26 miles with no water (being the idiot I am), I was forced to stop from exhaustion. Fortunately a quick call to E-Bike Moorea resulted in them quickly coming to my location at Moorea Grill to pick me up and drive me back to my hotel. If I had 8hrs to do this trek, I definitely could have made it around the island with time to spare to shop, explore, and eat more! I ended up only using about 1 bar (if that of the battery). The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to rent again from E-Bike Moorea! Gary

  The operator was very helpful and went out of his way to change my reservation on short notice. Very happy with the experience and service of e bike Morea. Would do it again.
