Ride along riverbanks listening to birds and spotting koalas in the massive gum trees that are up to 500 years old. Learn about the native bush foods, flora and fauna from your guide along the way. Then finish off cruising through the incredible landscape of Little Sahara’s sand dunes.

With electric assistance you can easily climb hills, gain speed, and float across soft sand. With extra wide tires you will have no trouble going through the toughest riding terrains, even pedalling up huge sand dunes can be done effortlessly on these bikes!

During your tour take the time to capture stunning photos of the amazing landscapes and native Australian wildlife that you see. Take home long lasting memories and a sense of achievement. You’ll be left with an experience you’ll be able to talk about for many years to come.

We are located in Vivonne Bay, which is approximately a 90-minute drive from the Penneshaw ferry terminal, but unfortunately, we do not provide a shuttle service nor are there taxis/ubers on the island.

Candice was an incredible guide on our private e-bike tour with my partner and I yesterday. She was very knowledgeable about the animals and made us feel very safe with the use of the e-bikes. Highly recommend this tour and Candice as a guide!!

We had an incredible experience on our electric fat bike tour of this stunning protected bush and dunes. Cycling our way through the bush with our guide Fox is the highlight of our trip to KI. Fox guided us through the stunning and changing landscape sharing his incredible knowledge of everything from how grass trees survive fire to how the tea tree got its name. We saw koalas and loved every minute. Fox made sure we had everything we needed as he guided us through. What an experience - thankyou!

This is my best experience in KI. I enjoyed each second of the whole experience. The whole experience was very exciting. Our coach was Aldis! Very lucky to have him. A very experienced and passionate coach! I felt safe all the time as long as I followed his clear instructions. My No.1 recommendation in KI.

What a great time! My family (three 20 something’s and my husband) and I took the fat bike tour with Little Sahara. We saw so many koala I stopped counting. Our guide, Candace, did a wonderful job of explaining the various sights along the trails and was great at keeping us all in mind (old and young) during the tour. We ended the tour watching a wild bee hive full of the famous Kangaroo Island bees and honey. I would highly recommend this tour and our guide Candace. Thank you

Candice our tour guide was excellent; very knowledgeable about the ecology of this very special place, we stopped to learn about the flora and fauna as we passed. Our 16 year old son loved it as much as we did…highly recommend going. Great bikes, beautiful route and glorious sand dunes…a must do on KI!

Me and my 11 year old daughter had a great day. Fox was a great guide, some dunes and some bush riding. He tailored the tour to us. Highly recommend.

We did the two hour e Fat Bike tour with Candy as our guide. Saw more Koalas than we could have hoped for. Candy was extremely knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and gave excellent instructions on using the bikes. Both the forest trail riding and dune riding were excellent. In two years of travel through Australia, I’d rate this among the top 3 tours we’ve down!

This was a great adventure! Challenging but so much fun. Our guide, Adam, was really knowledgable and coached us along the route - with route, terrain, and e-bike instructions to help us ride safely (we were first time fat bike / e-bike riders) as well as showing us the sights. Strongly recommend!!
