Ella to Ambewela train ride is considered one of the most picturesque short train journeys in Sri Lanka, offering breathtaking views of the central highlands. The train departs from Ella Railway Station and gradually ascends through misty mountains towards Ambewela, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the destination.
