Bijou was a great guide. He took me to local spots for some delicious food, that as a tourist you may not find. Bijou also told me about the local area and tailored the tour to my tastes!

Great tour of local food through Mattancherry by Biju. He's really knowledgeable and he tailored the food to what we wanted. We asked for not too spicy, just as well because even some of those dishes packed a bit of a punch! So many local dishes we had wanted to try but were too nervous to get as street food ourselves, but Biju took us to local trusted places. There was so much food, you definitely need to arrive hungry! Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to sample local food in Kerala.

We loved this food tour - Biju is born and raised in the town and knows everyone. Going on his tour gives you the chance to visit the restaurants like a local - and get treated like a VIP. We started with some fresh drinks (mango and avocado) before taking Biju’s tuk tuk to a nearby vegetarian place. We moved from there to a different restaurant serving different meat dishes and various accompaniments. And ended with a cooling drink at a street side family shop. Traveling as a tourist, you’d never find these places or know how good they were, so getting the personal tour is well worth doing and we’d recommend it to anyone.

We had a fantastic food tour with Biju! We’re used to walking food tours, but this one took us around to different places by tuk tuk (which worked for us, since we’d already walked a lot that day:). The food was great, and Biju was awesome to chat with, giving us so much info and history about Kerala. We learned a lot and left very full. Would definitely recommend!

Biju was great. He’s a lifelong local and gave was a warm and informative guide to be able to experience the diverse cuisine of Kochi. I highly recommend Biju.

Truly Exceptional. Biju's a brilliant guide. Knowledgeble, passionate about Kochi & its culture & food, and very customer focused. The drinks were amazing & the food very plentiful & absolutely delicious. I couldn't eat any dinner that evening! I've nearly finished my tour of Kerala, Kernataka & Goa and am very happy to report that Biju's tour was a true highlight. I'm going to suggest something I rarely do - Biju could & should charge MORE for this tour!!

Really fantastic local food tour! Biju seems to be the unofficial mayor of Fort Kochi and certainly seems to know all the best spots. It would be pretty impossible to find these places as a tourist, so very thankful this tour exists! Everyone was very friendly and the food ranged from very excellent to truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

Biju is an excellent guide — knowledgeable, positive, and a great host. He tailored the tour to my tastes and took me to authentic, non-touristy local spots. I learnt a lot about Kochi as well as eating extremely well. Only warning: the food keeps coming, so make sure you’re hungry before you start. Would absolutely recommend.
