Visiting the Titanus Museum means embarking on an emotional journey through the centuries, the places and personalities who have contributed to conquering and defending the independence and freedom of San Marino.

Thanks to the use of multimedia tools, immersive projections, 3D maps and holograms, you will experience the emotion of the most important moments that have characterized the "little" Republic from its origins to today. A piece of advice.

Titanus Museum

The Sala Antica of the museum is characterized by a wall of 8 x 1.7 meters with double projection and tells the most ancient history of San Marino. From the submarine origin of the mountain to the legend of the founding saint, the visitor will witness a totally reconstructed 3D representation. The Sala Moderna is made up of a 1.5 x 2.5 meter model that faithfully reproduces the territory of San Marino. It was made with 3D printing and in a material suitable for video-mapping. An 86-inch 4K television displays ancient images, paintings, engravings and documents. In the Contemporary Room a double projection takes us through the period from the 17th century to the present day. The holograms of Santo Marino, Napoleon and Garibaldi were acquired via a sensor suit. An actor's movements and lip were then transferred to the fully reconstructed 3D models.

For visitors to San Marino, which is in itself a recommended visit, visiting the museum is really an important and interesting addition. A modern, innovative museum that explains in English the history of San Marino over the years.

Interesting experience, which makes known through detailed videos - projected on giant screens with the most current techniques - the history of the city, from Prehistory onwards. I recommend to use it before starting your visit to San Marino. The staff was very kind.
