  Well worth a visit. The gardens are a sight even in the winter. The galleries themselves are full of masters. Particularly enjoyed Klimt. Buying a ticket in advance meant we walked straight in at our allotted time. Easy to get there in the streetcar.

  Magnificent place full of history that hosts well-known works. You must plan to buy your ticket in advance because long queues from 9am to buy a ticket. 1:30 to make the tour. Secure locker (locker) to deposit our belongings, you must provide a room of 2nd. Free access to the garden.

  A beautiful museum which we really enjoyed since we were primarily interested is seeing Gustav Klimt’s artwork. We also enjoyed the Christmas Market behind Upper Belvedere.

  Imperdible! And don't forget to pick up the audio guide for information about the works of art. As we are arriving in winter we still had the luck to pick up a Christmas fair in front of the Museum.

  Great artwork, but a little overwhelming. We were hoping to see rooms set up in period furniture with the amazing artwork on the walls. Instead, there were plaques saying what each room was used for and only artwork on display. Klimt's Kiss is beautiful, as were many other pieces.

  Great value for money, lots to see, easy to get to via train and tram. Close to other activities like botanical gardens and Saint Stephen’s cathedral and the main city centre.

  This is a beautiful location , easy to get to on public transport . Probably the best gallery I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting as an art lover . A must see . You could spend hours and hours here . I wish that I had longer .

  I always visit the Belvedere Palace Complex with great pleasure, but every time I work with my camera I have problems with the lighting. Bright sunlight often outshinees the paintings and leaves strong reflections on the photos. This will damage not only the images on the files, but also the paintings themselves. The National Gallery in London has conducted long-standing research on the influence of light on the condition of paintings and colours. Ultraviolet rays of sunlight have been found to have harmful effects. The effects of electric light, including those of cameras, are negligibly small. I very much hope that one day the light in the Belvedere Art Gallery will be uniform and muted and that the museum staff will no longer react to the auxiliary light of the autofocus (AF auxiliary light) of cameras.
