Take your camel ride and pintrate the masive dunes of Erg Chebbi.. Our camp is nestled amidst the dunes, 10 spacious tents, each equipped with toilets and a private shower. Insid our 26 sqm tents, you will find a King Size bed and a single bed, all equipped with high-quality bedding, including pillows, sheets, and towel. In our bathrooms are equiped with soap, shampoo, and toilet paper, with showers providing hot water. We offer delicious meals in cozy space offering panoramic views of Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a buffet-style breakfast and dinner included in your reservation, all within an enchanting setting.
Every evening, we make a campfire and live local music, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Explore our open-air communal spaces, perfect for stargazing.

After you park your car, you will take your camel and penetrate the massive dunes of Erg Chebbi. our camel guides are very professional and they would take you to the best place to watch the sunset. Enjoy the sunset and the surrounding views of Erg Chebbi dunes away from the noise. you will ride the camels for 30 minutes and you will stop in the middle of the dunes until the sun sets down then you will continue toward the camp by camels. our camel guides are very professional in taking pictures so do not hesitate to ask to take photos for you !
After sunset you will continue your ride toward the camp where you will be welcomed with tea almond an pastry and the beautiful smiles of the nomads. you will be introduced to your private tents with ensuite bathroom and shower with comfortable King beds. The restaurant is open to prepare a delicious meal while enjoying the the panoramic view of the dunes. The meals will be prepared according to your dietary. After dinner we will have a party around thr bonfire playing the berber drums. You can enjoy a walk under the starry sky.

5.00We spent a nice night in this Riad in the middle of the desert, was really amazing, we had nice dinner with music around the fire. My family enjoyed the camel ride and sand boarding. Highly recommended

3.00The dunes were beautiful but we barely went inside them with the camels, we merely stayed on the outskirts of the desert where the dunes are small (we saw other groups on the big dunes though). So it didn't feel like a proper desert experience to me. Also, I was told I would be alone with my group for the camel ride, but there were other people as well. On the day of the excursion, we got transferred into another camp last-minute. The camp was okay except if you wanted A/C, which was installed in each tent, you had to pay an additional €25 per person. That was an unexpected surprise.

5.00Highly recommended! Especially with kids. The camp, tents and food were all fine. We enjoyed it enormously and were well looked after! Our guide has gone to great lengths to take beautiful pictures that we can have as memories. Thank you so much for everything! Keep in mind that this is on the edge of the desert, to go deeper into the desert several days are recommended and definitely worth it!

5.00I had the most amazing time at shooting star desert camp. The owner, and all the staff, Mohammed, Ishmail, Omar and Hassan are wonderful, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time from the moment we arrived at the airport. They sent a driver to come get us and then helped set up all the activities around camp. There was camel ride, sunset and sunrise, ATV tour, Sandboarding, fun times around the camp fire bonding over Berber music. We also took a day tour to local nomad camps, Khamlia and many other historical and interesting sites. Mustafa really helped us have the amazing time and experience we would not have had otherwise. We highly recommend the camp and the tours! Ps: he spoke many languages and that helped a lot!
