Ride into the desert by camel about 1 hour to enjoy the amazing sunset.
The camel guide will take you to access the high dunes.
Then you will have enough time hiking to the top. Or you can relax in the meduim dunes.
Relax and enjoy the Quietness and sunset over sand dunes, then back one hour by camels into the starting point.

5.00Sunset camel ride, amazing. Guide was super fun and passed along tidbits of desert knowledge. He gave up as much time as we wanted, to ride, to walk, to sit and watch.

An individual camel ride to Sahara desert during the sunset: EXCEPTIONAL experience!

5.00We had an amazing experience during our camel ride from Merzouga to Sahara Desert. Is was an INDIVIDUAL ride, completely different from a typical 20 min. long camel ride from Merzouga to or from a desert camp, which most of the tourist do. After drinking mental tea, a sign of local hospitality, we made an almost 3 hours trip. While in the desert, we were given some free time to take pictures and to meditate during the sunset. Ahmed treated us like his family members and kindly helped to solve our problem related to accommodation, which had nothing to do with this camel ride. I would certainly recommend this adventure and this VERY generous English-speaking host to our friends and family, while planning to visit this area.

I will certainly recommend this adventure and this VERY generous English-speaking host to our friends and family, while planning to visit this area. Highly recommended!
