The Essential Lucerne Private Photo Tour is rich in photographic possibilities, complete with remarkable iconic Landmarks and interesting back-streets with secret vantage points. Lucerne is culturally diverse offering a fantastic contrast of old and new, and offers a lot of creative photography experiences. If you wish, i will photograph you and your private party along the tour so you can get back home with long lasting memories.

Is this Tour for you?
This tour is intended for amateur as well as serious photography enthusiasts with an interest to visit and photograph the beauty of the Swiss Alps together with its many traditions and culture . No prior expertise or experience in photography is necessary, as your photographer-guide will be there to assist you at every level. You may carry any camera – a simple aim-and-shoot or a DSLR. Travel enthusiasts who are not photographers but keen to experience the multiple facets of Switzerland can also benefit from the tour.
Can I bring my non-photographer partner with me?
Yes, you can. We visit many beautiful places in Switzerland. Having a good time during the trip is as much on the agenda as photography is. Your partner will enjoy the journey with us.
I am not a keen photographer. But I want to visit Switzerland. Can I still join?
Yes. The answer is exactly the same as in the case of previous question. We visit many beautiful places in Switzerland with a spectacular natural wonders, we witness the best Alpine Festivals during the whole year and always with the idea in mind of having long lasting memories in all our photo tours. For us fun is as much on the agenda as photography is!

5.00I went for a 3 hour photography tour with Luis. Had one of the best days of my trip. We walked and walked and walked. Covered entire Lucerne. Explored places which i wouldn't have otherwise..learnt about photography, about swiss culture, their history. Completely worth the money and time.

5.00We looked at a number of different tours for our day in Lucerne. Our number 1 criteria was to be able to experience the city and the culture, and not just quick stops at the major hilights. This eliminated many tours. While the cost was much higher than the large group tours, for our tour it was just me and my husband, Luis was a terrific guide and did not disappoint. He took us to spots we would never have found on our own and pointed out spots to get some great photos. Luis is also very knowledgeable on the history of Lucerne and gave us a number of recommendations for things to do for the rest of our day in Lucerne. After our 3 hour tour we had time to get lunch at the local brewery, walk around the town, stop back at the Jesuit Church, ake an hour boat ride on Lake Lucerne, and have a glass of local wine before catching our train back to Basel. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Luis was a gifted and patient instructor for my private lesson. He took the time to figure out the settings on my Leica and then we walked all over Lucerne to play with the camera and help me learn more about good travel photography. He also taught me about some Lucerne history, and helped me find a great restaurant for dinner.

5.00Luis is very knowledgable on both the city history and surrounding areas, as well as providing top tips and deeper insight into professional photographer approach to settings, composition and techniques. This was a great tour for me, and even though a snowy day there was still a wealth of material to use. Luis combines the photographic focus with highly informative walks between spots about the history of the region and the city.

5.00This tour was great. Luis did a great job with the tour, bringing us around Lucerne and taking photos of us as well as helping us with our camera settings. He provided some small jpg files which were great and gave the option to purchase bigger size files if you wanted to print bigger than a 4x6. We had a great time on this tour and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lucerne which is beautiful!
Definitely recommend! Don't Miss it!

5.00This tour was in September 2017 Luis – is a fantastic tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He talked to me about the secrets of Luzern and the cities nearby, he took me through the lakes/river and while I was amazed about the wonderful sightseeing he was taking extremely professional photos of me and the surroundings. The first day the weather was kind of not as expected and guess what? Luis just changed the plan to something unbelievably more amazing, we took the boat to a nearby city to see one of the newest resorts in the region and we went on the highest outdoor lift in Europe! We hiked, we ate on the top of the mountain and he taught me how to take great photos from the top. On the way back to Luzern, we took the boat and it was a very nice return back, the view just so so great. If you decided to go to the resort with Luis make sure to come back on the boat it is great. Luis will make your days great with some activities and trains to take. He is a great storyteller and very passionate, he made taste origin swiss food, soup, and cheese. Overall it was an amazing experience and one of the best photo shoots I’ve ever taken. The resort is called; burgenstock Resort If you are in Luzern call Luis and you will enjoy the best tour photos shoot days in Switzerland. Thanks, Luis and apologise for the late review.

5.00We loved this photo tour with Luis. He was a very energetic and talkative guide, who knew a lot about Lucerne. He took us to spots in Lucerne that we would have never known to go to, and his explanations were intriguing and exciting. He also took a lot of pictures of us along the way, which made the experience memorable. If you go to Lucerne, this is a MUST.
