This excursion includes an itinerary in stages to let you know and appreciate places of particular natural value within the reserve of the Etna Park up to an altitude of about 2000 meters. Thanks to the experience of our staff, aboard 4x4 vehicles you will live an interesting and fun experience at the same time. Starting from the lava flows that threatened entire villages, you will visit the extinct craters and the lookout of the majestic Valle del Bove. You will visit a lava flow cave (lava tube) equipped with a helmet and speleologist lights. The tour will end with a tasting of Sicilian specialties.
IMPORTANT NOTES: our meeting point in Trecastagni a MontataGrande accessible by car.
It is possible to request pick-up from Catania or other countries.

Mount Etna
The tour winds through the visit of different attractions (at least 4): the ancient and recent lava flows; the Valle del Bove; the visit of a volcanic cave with lights and helmets; walk on the side craters at about 2000 meters.
Valle Del Bove
Panoramic stop in the spectacular Valle del Bove, a natural amphitheater created by the collapse of the ancient eruptive centers of Etna. This stage may not be carried out starting from Taormina. Alternatively, you can reach the ski resort of Piano Provenzana destroyed by the 2002 eruption.

5.00What about our experience with E.E. Wanted and designed for our 7-year-olds, it did not disappoint expectations. Landscapes that you would not usually encounter on your way. Lava caves inside which to descend wearing helmet and torch. I wonder what their imaginations will give birth to. Entering a completely black "cave", not only for an obvious lack of light but for the type of raw material. Once we could have said children of Jules Verne today, alas, grandchildren of Bruce Wayne, complete with bat that blissfully slept during our passage. Landscape, only apparently desert all around, because this is the first impression these huge black boulders convey, as black is the mantle that covers everything, And then the guides Piera and Fabrizio who made us Ciceroni for the whole excursion Prepare well beyond what they should be, patient even with the allologists on duty. Piera, the one who accompanied us, thoughtful even with the children. The aspect that most exudes from their eyes is the passion for this "picciridda" that goes far beyond their mere work.

5.00We had a great time during this Mt Etna excursion. Luca was the best tour and kept the tour fun and engaging with his knowledge of the mountain. We had a lovely lunch after at their restaurant and all the employees were warm and friendly. Just note that there is a lot of walking and somewhat difficult climbs on this trip so be prepared.

4.00Booked tour with Go for Etna. Tour chosen for cruises as it was timed and we were picked up at the port. Short caves sightseeing and walking along the craters. Please be sure to bring warm clothes. Even if the weather is good, it can be stormy and cold upstairs.

5.00Highly recommended experience, very prepared and helpful guide. Despite the rain it showed us valid alternatives to discover this fascinating volcano.
Even my wife loved this tour, and she isn't an outdoorsy type.

5.00Take good shoes, something warm, and water. The tour was amazing. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the history and geology of Etna, and told us in an amusing and involving way (lots of food metaphors!). This activity was very much for me; we did the opera for y wife last week. But she said she enjoyed this far more than she expected to and would si it again. I have bad knees, and was a little concerned about the walking involved, but it turned out to be well within my abilities. It's a good half-day, ending up at a great location for a lunch and to sample some native Sicilian produce. I'd recommend it to anyone.

5.00Went on the Etna: 4x4 Tour with Guide Carmelo who was fantastic. Picked me up near my Hotel to start the Tour. Once we met the rest of the group we headed up Etna. Carmelo our Guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the volcano, the eruptions throughout its history but also the history of Catania and surrounding area. He was very helpful having walking sticks for customers if they wanted them and safety equipment for the Lava Flow Caves. Just a great Tour. Highly Recommend
