Join this tour by multi-award winning Tour Company to visit 2 of New Zealand’s most famous attractions, the Hobbiton Movie Set and the Te Puia Geothermal Wonderland, in one return day trip from Auckland (option by arrangement to be dropped off in Rotorua)

Be fascinated as the magical world of Hobbiton comes to life, take photos in front of your favourite places like the 44 Hobbit Holes, the Shire and the Green Dragon Inn. Then journey to the World Famous Te Puia which is home to remarkable geothermal features, including the famous Pōhutu geyser as well as rich layers of Māori culture, including art works, people, stories, traditions and architecture. There are lush nature trails teeming with native bird life and you will even find New Zealand iconic native flightless bird, the Kiwi.

For guests exiting the tour in Rotorua, we drop off only in 1 location (the Rotorua I-Site Information Centre, 1167 Fenton Street). We do not drop off at individual hotels or accommodation locations.

We do not pick up from airport hotels or South or East Auckland. For those staying in these suburbs of Auckland, we have 1 pickup location: the Sebel Manukau Hotel, 16 Lakewood Court Manukau (approx 10-15 minutes from airport hotels).

Those staying over the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the North Shore of Auckland, you pick up location is the Sky Tower in the centre of the Auckland Downtown CBD.

Tour leaves Auckland at 6:30am with everyone already picked up across the CBD and on board; the pickups occur in the 25 minutes prior to that
