Join us for an unforgettable night in the rainforest after dark! On this tour we guide you through the ancient rainforest at night. This is a truly unique and memorable experience.
Experience an exciting night time tour with stargazing, delicious dessert at a local restaurant and a fully guided rainforest walk to the waterfall. This is a great tour for you to discover the bio-network of a rainforest and to experience nocturnal wildlife spotting.

Tour begins from Aquaduck office at start time. Please arrive 10mins prior to check in. Pick ups from selected locations available. Please contact local tour operator directly at least 24hrs prior to your tour to arrange pick up. Phone +61 7 5655 0716
Please note there is no storage in the bus or tour office for prams or large bags. Kindly leave them in your car or hotel room.
Any person under the age of 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult 18+
Southern Cross Tours may alter or cancel any section of the itinerary which may result from road closures, weather, suppliers or any other condition of an operational nature.
Alternate vehicles may be used in the event that a Southern Cross vehicle is unavailable.
Tour duration is approximate and is based on tour time starting from and returning to Aquaduck booking office, Surfers Paradise.
Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.

5.00It was really a magical night. We saw a lot of animals and our guide explained us a lot about them. The athmosphere was all in all really good, because our guide interacted a lot with is. Can only recommend!

5.00The tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide was fantastic, very entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting facts about the rainforest and its wildlife, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky to see a lot of animals during the walk including possums, bandicoots, lizards, geckos and even an eel in the lake. There were also plenty of spiders along the way which made the night walk feel like a real adventure. One of the highlights was seeing the fluorescent mushrooms and of course the glowing worms. It was truly magical and something I had never experienced before. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable tour. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

5.00Glow Worm tour last night up at Mt. Tambourine National Park with Southern Cross Tours - our tour guide Alex was excellent with a cracking sense of humour! Made everyone feel welcome and shared a great variety of information on the drive, which was really interesting and fun! The views on the way up to the park were stunning and if you have time you should definitely check it out during daylight hours too if you get the chance. We saw an amazing selection of creatures, including a water dragon, huge panda(?) snail, giant (and I mean giant!) cricket, a selection of spiders, a cane toad, cute frog and a couple of leaf-tailed gheckos! The slaters curled themselves into a ball when picked up and were so metallic! We did see the glow worms too of course, but difficult to get good photos on my phone. Highly recommend! 👌

2.00Was very boring, no to much to go, just at evening see the glow .Waste of money and time. The total walk was 600 meters. In the restaurant the cheese cake was simple not very tasty

5.00Truly unforgettable! This is a must-do trip if you love nature. We saw all sorts of night wildlife and the glow worms left us speechless! Tania’s passion for nature is obvious and she is incredibly knowledgable- she made the tour so much more entertaining and informative.
